Mum's 6th/7

Today is Mum's 42nd day which is also called the 6th/7 day. After 49 days, her photo will not be place in Bright Hill temple anymore instead I can only pray to her tablet.
Hence today I decided to cook a vegetarian lunch for her. This is the first time cooking vegetarian food. Vegetarian cod fish, vegetarian abalone with vegetables and lastly cantonese "lor hon chye" that mum used to cook during Chinese New Year. I had these food for lunch with dad as well and it taste good. I didnt know vegetarian cod fish taste so good!

I also made a cup of her favourite almond drink (she asked for it in my dreams). Oh and I saw a dumpling, thanks to whoever who bought it for her. She wanted to have it during the time when she was admitted... I hope mum enjoyed her lunch!

Training

Today went for training. Well, I guess some enjoyed but one of my colleague and I felt that the trainer has gone more into her personal experiences than anything in the notes. It is good to share but not to the extend that 3/4 of the time sharing her own stories. Most of the participants visited the restrooms frequently to wash their face (prevent themselves from falling asleep I guess) and I did the same. End of the session, I rated her "average", not meant to be rude but trying to be fair because I attended many much better ones as compared to hers.
Tomorrow is another afternoon shift. Sigh..... so many afternoon shift and every weekday afternoon shift reminds me of the irritating specimen. I dont know how long I have to be in this position. Tired....................... maybe I should look forward to Nov, when Joshua is born, I dont have to go to work for 3 months! I heard from the news last night that the government is going to revise the baby bonus and the benefits! How I wish they revise the maternity leave to 4 months hahahhaha fat hope!
Mum's "market stall friend" called up to look for her just now. He said that some market friends has been trying to look for her, wanted to find out how is she getting on, so I told him what happened. Sigh...... so sad...... anyway, I told him that they can still "visit" and pray to her at Bright Hill temple. They will be going someday.
I wonder how is mum............

Last week I tried the new starzbites cheesy extreme. I think it would be nicer if we have it in the restaurant itself.

This morning I had vegetarian fish soup noodles. It taste so good and it cost only $2.50. I have been buying vegetarian food from here to pray to mum then each time I find it so appetising. The next time I will try the lor mee and wanton mee.

Fruitful day

This afternoon went Vivo to look for Timothy because Silly hubby wanted to cut his hair. This is the third time Silly boy went to Timothy because he likes the way he cuts his hair. I agree, coz Timothy very meticulous and patient. As for me, I will wait for another two months before I cut it really short.
After the haircut we went Carl's jr! Yummy... the double mushroom burger SO nice and I like the pickles (coz it's free haaaa). We tried the fried zucchini as well, not too bad.


Then we went G2000. Wow, almost 50% off on most items. Silly hubby bought 3 pants and 2 shirts and I bought 1 shirt for papa.

Silly boy went starhub to get his mobile broadband. I took a picture of his new cut hair then he said Joshua looks like him! (I thought Joshua looks more like me leh!)

Finally Silly hubby get to collect his new car this evening. He was very excited because to him, it's NEW, spacous, LOOKS nicer...etc etc... but to me, it looks more or less the same as the old car. Same carplate, same colour, same brand....... maybe I am not very into car so I dont find much differences except those OBVIOUS ones like the car keys, auto gear, the bigger boot and some internal difference.


Anyway this car is for Joshua because according to Silly hubby, aute gear more comfortable hence Joshua will not feel bumpy during travelling then also more space for him........ (uhmmmm.....)

We met Regina at M hotel to have our dinner. 3 of us had the western semi buffet again. I had steak tonight and it taste very good! Only took one picture though........ of course again, 3 of us was very bloated after dinner!

Finally

Finally the audit is over... as in today will be the last day. I guess there would be nothing much later when I get back to the ward. Everything is OVER! I feel so relax, feel like going shopping, feel like watching series, feel like feasting........
Unfortunately, that irritating specimen still so very irritating. I really cant stand her anymore, I really feel like slapping her! She better dont force me to the limit or else I will report to boss about it. Dont try to test my patience, it doesnt left a lot!
Last night I dreamt of mum, she said its her "4th seven" day (means the 4th week whereby she is not with us), she asked me to bring her to a market. The market is the one where she used to have her aquarium. At the market, we saw almost all our relatives! Some selling fishes, some selling vegetables and some selling cooked food like porridge... I get to see mum and all my relatives in the dream.
Maybe mum wanted to see everyone of them and we had a "gathering" in my dream. She is happy....

Busy

Busy at work because of the audit. Finally tomorrow is the day of audit, wish we can faster get over and done with it!

Just had dinner at Clementi "Zi bao ji", very yummy... we (dad, silly hubby and me) ordered 42 packets of it but doesnt seems to be enough. In addition, we had a plate of fried rice and two plates of noodles. I came back home and bought one popiah hee... Joshua was hungry!
Mum is not with us for a month. Funny thing is whenever I dream of her, it's always either her voice or her younger looks (like in her 30s). Nothing recent. Maybe she wants to look better in the dream :) anyway...... I really hope she is doing well now.....

Many evenings....

Been doing a lot of afternoon duties because most of the managers are needed for morning shift in preparation for the audit. Well I dont really mind however there is something that really annoy me.
This particular person likes to ask for unnecessary details. I know she just want to make things difficult and that is her habit. When she is in bad mood she is really annoying and irritating. She likes to comment on other managers which I feel very unprofessional. She always say she got so much work to do but I dont know what is she doing most of the time.
Whenever I know I am going to meet her the evening I will feel very irritable the whole shift. She is such an IRRITATING specimen.......

Grandma

Cooked some pasta and brought to uncle's home. Had a small gathering over at uncle's place and at the same time everyone went up to visit grandma. Grandma ate a lot of the pasta and a lot of snacks. Guess she ate much more than me!
I have no appetite today. Feel so bloated the whole day. I dont know it's because of what also. Maybe Joshua is growing bigger therefore pushing against me. ARGHhh feels terrible.
Feels hot also but now is actually raining........

Dinner

Feel very tired lately though working pm shift most of the days. Dont know whether is it Joshua growing bigger or I just become more and more lazy. Anyway, short of beds these days so I had hard time arrange for beds for the patients. Really hard on the staff also because they have to transfer patients to take in patients again but luckily they were cooperative.
I dont really enjoy what I am doing right now and practically just work for the sake of working. Not like the past, I used to enjoy my work. I dont know whether is it because of the change of role or I just became lazy and restless. Anyway........................ dont know what to comment.
Dinner was great tonight. With Silly hubby and dad again at Geylang.

Cafe 2000 at M hotel

Just came home from M hotel ~ Cafe 2000. Never been to this restaurant though I received many emails previously regarding the promotion on this restaurant. I saw the good deal for this month hence decided to give it a try together with Silly hubby and pa. We love the food!

There are quite a bit of varieties from the mini buffet bar ~ oysters, mussels, crayfish, big prawns, clams, sashimi, japanese food, soups, fried stuff, salad and desserts.

The main course ~ I chose duck and pa chose salmon.

Silly hubby had steak and he loves the durian.
It cost only $35++ which came up to $40 per pax and we can enjoyed a main course and the semi buffet.
It is worth! Try it........

After work went Jurong to look for Cecilia and Vivi. She grew taller, very vain but really cute. We went IMM for dinner and she enjoyed.

Especially when she was riding her favourite giraffe.
Just now went downstairs to develop the wedding pictures. The auntie there saw mum's picture and asked about her. I told her what happened and she was shocked. She mentioned that mum ever bought soon kuey for her to eat and also said that mum actually told her luckily she discovered the illness early hence she has almost recover.
Sigh... mum didnt expected it, neither do we.
