Last night at drinkerz

It was a last minute plan to drinkerz last night. Was there with Nathan, Alvin and saw many many regulars back in drinkerz! It was very very crowded and smoky! The air con was down and the big fan was on. I added a lot of salt to my beer again heeeeee it was nice but everyone said it was too salty! HUMPH!
I went off earlier than the rest because someone is simply so irritating! I cant stand it hence I went off.
I was on afternoon shift today with Wenying again. Her patients again were more problematic than mine! Two wet beds at the SAME TIME, one of her patient suddenly granted to go home in the late evening, another one asked a lot of stupid questions! My patients, all very pleasant... heeeeeee what's wrong uh??????!?!?!?!?!?!?

Last day off

Time flies uh, today will be my last day off!
Yesterday woke up at almost noon, had lunch with dad and came home to laze again. Evening time went dinner with Sitilok at chomp chomp, yeah, we had my favourite bbq chicken wings but I realised that the standard dropped. Or maybe I am too fussy... I still prefer the one near my place. I had a bowl of beef noodles as well and was very full after that. (over eat AGAIN!!!!!) It started to rain right after we finished our dinner. Its rather early to go home so we headed to drinkerz (at 730pm) and the place was quiet. We watched "motor racing"..... and the guys were talking about motorbikes, cars... (I was like "HUH" what u guys talking about? Who u people talking about???) then not long after, I felt feverish and I am still having sore throat from the night before... Kevin and Sitilok told me to drink my beer with some salt in it! I scooped a spoonful of salt hahahahaha they scolded me and said I was "CRAZY"! I like salty salty mah... Eh and it taste so GOOD!!!!! I finished up the beer within seconds!We went home around 10plus because I felt really sick. I reached home and went straight to my bed to sleep because my thermometer shown 37.7 degrees... FEVER...
I was all right today, hospital panadol always work for me! I went lunch with dad along Thomson road and went Ritz for durian strudel. We each had one and it was nice! Hmmm I begin to accept the pungent smell of the durian.
I came home to finish up my research. YEAH!!!!!!! ITS DONE! Gonna summit tomorrow and hope everything goes well!
There goes my 4 days off, going back to work tomorrow! :( SIGH...

BLOATED!

This evening met Nathan, Sitilok and Dylan for buffet dinner again. This time was at Noble house (Tung Lok) that cost only $40 per head. We ordered almost 18 dishes and many desserts!!! We managed to finish everything but we only realised that we were so bloated when we were about to leave the restaurant! We repeated our mistakes again and again and again... we reflected each time and told each other that we shouldnt eat or order too much the next time but... the same thing happen again and again... How come we dont learn our lessons?????
We had beer at Paulaner after dinner. We made the right choice actually, havent been there for quite some time and the beer remains its standard. GOOD!
Ivan came to join us later and we spent the evening talking about how bloated we were and started to reflect again. However I am very sure the next time the same thing will happen again hahahahaha wanna bet?????

New seats cover!

Went down to vacumm my car and put on the seats cover that I bought yesterday. Fortunately my dad was there to help me out, it was not difficult but not easy either! YEAH its done within 45minutes and my car is no longer an "AH PEK" car because the seats no longer cover with towels ;)
P/S: Why I chose Wallace... I watched all the series of Wallace and Gomit, I find them cute but some people dont like because they are more like "plastercine"! Oh and this one is selling cheaper heeee

My first day off

I will be going back to work only on Tuesday HEEEEEeeee I was given 4 days off! Yeah, has been working on all the PH days so I have the "privilege" to off!
My first day off on yesterday:
Had a busy afternoon at Melaleuca from 12noon to almost 5pm! The parking cost me $9.85!!!!! HEARTACHE!

Thereafter rushed down to meet Nathan, Alice and Ann for dinner at Tian tian steamboat. I parked my car at Fortune centre ($2 per entry after 5pm), PHEW, cannot afford more! We took our dinner around 6pm, was satisfied with the standard of the steamboat but we didnt get to eat a lot.

Nathan and I went shopping after dinner while Alice and Ann went home. I bought my car seats cover!!!!! Whole set of seat cover including the back seats, it is a cute Wallace seat cover heeeeee I like! Will fix it on later and take picture of it! YIPPIE~
Nathan and I reached DXO at 9plus! That's very early we know, but we have no where to loiter! There were live band and they sang pretty well.



Later came Sitilok wearing his new clubbing shirt hahaha... then he get to know a young boy name Nicholas! Heeee this boy is cute, he sat beside us alone while his friends were over at the other corner. He looked rather troubled and depressed so Sitilok approached him and talked to him while I offered him our drinks! He showed us some tricks and I am really impressed because I wont be able to do it! Heeee cute young 19 years old boy!

We enjoyed the R&B music throughout the night but certain songs were repeated almost 3 times! Sitilok was supposed to go home at 1230MN but he left at 245am! Heeee... then later came the silly Kevin at 3am with Terrance and Joyce! We intended to leave but met him outside DXO so we went in to drink again! Kevin offered beer to the young Nicholas..... OH NO, drink with Kevin!??? Definately Nicholas will not be able to make it! hahahahhahaa True enough, the young boy was drunk after that.....

Yesterday (25th Oct)

Part 1:
I was on with Wenying yesterday morning and we were busy handling one HYPERTHYRODISM female patient and one violent male patient. Both were Wenying's patients, HOW UNLUCKY! Hahaha... The female patient was irritating, she called every few minutes just for something minor and she was really paranoid, anxious and easily agitated! She was really testing my patience. I ignored her totally so that I could concentrate on our two new admissions and the other violent patient.
The drama started when the violent patient refused his lunch. The female patient which has nothing better to do, tried to persuade the violent patient to take his lunch. The violent patient scolded and asked her to "DIAM LAH" (which means "shut up" in hokkien). The violent patient then climbed out of bed pulled out the drips, telemetry cables and urine catheter! Not long after came the god daughter and son-in-law, they tried to talk to him but failed to get him back. We were afraid that he might fall so we tried to drag him back to the bed however he turned violent! He shouted at us and wanted to punch us! We "fought" with him and it was really really drama throughout until the God daughter and the patient himself threatened to jump down from the building!!!!! We called for the registrar to AOR discharge him as he was really out of control.
The drama lasted for an hour and finally we sent him home after he scolded each and everyone of us, including the doctors. Have been nursing him for the past 2 days, he was a non compliant and stubborn patient! Wenying had a bad morning but we were laughing over the drama and both our hair was so messy after this "battle"! Heeeeeeee
P/S: The best part was I told the violent patient to change to his own clothes then he started with wearing his underwear outside the hospital pants! (He thought he is SUPERMAN!) My nurse manager and I thought he was totally senile so insisted him to take off his pants before wearing the underwear. He scolded us and dont allow us to go near him then he proudly said "I CAN TAKE OFF THE PANTS with this underwear outside! WANT TO BET??????!!!"
And he was really able to... (ROLLED EYES) isnt he stubborn??? Why cant he just do the simple, easy, usual way?????

Part 2:
Went Melaleuca to get some products that my colleages ordered. The place was SOOOOOoooo CROWDED! I was feeling SOOOOOOO tired and sleepy after queueing for one and a half hour!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After I got my products, I went to pass some to my cousin and accompanied her for dinner. It was drizzling and I really hate it! Either rain or dont rain, I just cant stand drizzling! I walked from Shaw to Centrepoint and back to Shaw without an umbrella. The parking cost me $5, sigh...

Part 3:
I drove over to the police academy to pick Dylan for dinner ~ the long planned crab feast! I was jammed in mt pleasant, thought the small ulu road was supposed to be faster than the main road! (HATE IT AS ITS STILL DRIZZLING!). We reached AMK almost 830pm, we were both hungry so we placed our orders the moment we reached. We definately over ordered ~ one creamy butter crab, one claypot bee hoon crab, 10 buns and 2 bamboo clams! WOW.... Its again "HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM" very delicious.
I taught Dylan how to eat the bee hoon soup so that it could be more "HMMMMM" hahahaha and he agreed that the way I eat it is really "HMMMMMMMM" HAHAhahahahaa I enjoyed the dinner very much but we left with half a crab. Dylan said everytime he goes out with me he always over eat! Yeah I agreed heeeeeee



Part 4:
Got sms from many of my friends while I was having my dinner! One of them was from Nathan, she asked me to join her at Carls Code. I pondered as I on morning shift today so I didnt reply her. Later I got another sms from her, she told me Mr "banana" asked me to go down. I discussed with Dylan and we went eventually but we both were saying that we were too full to consume anything!
Nathan, Alvin, Mr banana, Jeff and Gina was there. I sang a couple of songs and drank 1-2 glass of chivas and 2-3 glass of green tea heeeeee too full to drink.... Went home at about 1245am



What a long day......

Last night at drinkerz

Was on afternoon duty yesterday. I admitted 2 straight forward cases and settled them within an hour. In the late evening, Sitilok sms me asked me whether I want to go for a drink at drinkerz. I replied him only after work as I was afraid that I may not be able to wake up this morning. Oh yeah, so ended up at drinkerz with Candy and Sitilok. Of course William was there, and James, Jason, Eddie... the same old regulars...


Sitilok became like me, like to take pictures of himself. One was taken by he himself then he wanted me to take one for him and Kevin!

Candy asked me to take a picture of her as well!

As usual, initially wanted to go home after one jug but we drank a total of three jugs! No problem for me, I was able to wake up for work this morning heeeeee ... Oh must thank James because he sang my favourite "Kiss Goodbye" upon my request! "XIE XIE"....

Its Sunday

I maintained the zero patient over my cubicle that I was in charged in hence I spent my time reading and working on my research the whole morning again. Having headache and felt so sleepy after few hours of reading and typing so I went over to my ICU and started to sell my Melaleuca products again heeee got some business today, YIPPIE!
After work I went to meet Sitilok at centre point for coffee. His sister came to join us for a while and went off for shopping again. Thereafter we went over to Singpost to have our dinner. We thought that Eddie was there but he was not around today HOWEVER we do have special discount on our dinner hahahaha GREAT!
Sitilok wanted to buy a shirt just for CLUBBING so we went Bugis and he bought one at the TOPSHOP. To him the shirt is nice and cheap...so vain...we went home after we had a drink at Mac.

On the PH...

It is always very nice to work on a PH day! This evening I have no patient at all, so relax! I was doing my research whole day long and occasionally went in to my ICU to look for my colleagues... Sigh, I miss my "home".
Not very used to wearing uniform, its so difficult to work wearing a dress! I still prefer the ICU scrubs ;)
Nothing much to blog because no patients, no activity, nothing special... hope tomorrow will remains the same heeeeeee

DXO

Yesterday dinner was at NYDC with Ivette, Denise and Eddie. 3 main course, 1 snack, 2 desserts and 2 drinks cost $89! Uhmm 4 person should be around that price but I dont know why I find it rather expensive.
I was supposed to meet Weixun and gang at DXO after dinner but I met my friend for a drink instead as it was still early. After the drink, it was already 1120pm. I wanted to go home instead of DXO but I thought I have told Weixun and Sitilok earlier that I was going over so I went. Who knows this Sitilok went over to velvet after Balaclava because his friend told him DXO is for kids! SICKO!


I saw Weixun and Jimmy the moment I reached and Weixun told me to queue to get in. The best part was the man stopped me and insisted that I must produce my IC! I told him my IC was in the car and I showed him my credit card he said "NO, must have IC!" I said I AM OVERAGED LOR!!!!!!! I was rather pissed and wanted to go home but thought that the parking will cost me per entry $4, I dropped the idea. Weixun accompanied me to my car to get my IC and I came back and told the man "I AM BACK WITH MY IC! LOOK HOW OLD AM I! Make me walk...."
I went in and saw Zizhen and his friends and get to know some of them. (Dennise, Wesley, Vincent .... forgotten...) It was free flow drinks for ladies last night and the R&B music was really good! Jimmy enjoyed the most, Weixun sat there and "watch show" because he dont like to dance, Zizhen and gang drank a lot...as for me, some stories behind it but I do enjoyed!
I drove them home around 3plus and guess what?????????!!!! Parking free hahahahahahaa uhmmmmmm lucky uh!

Dinner at Long House...

Last night I met Weixun and Jimmy for dinner at Long House along Thomson Road. I brought them to try out the "Uncle Joe western food" which was recommended by my friend Eugene. I brought a few other friends after I been there once and they all like it very much. I told Weixun and Jimmy how nice it is however they were in doubt.
I forced them to order the pork chop and after they tried all they did was "HMMMMMMMM"... Hahahahaha should look at their expressions, so amusing hahaha they really enjoyed the food especially Weixun. He insisted to order another spagetti to try out and the outcome was still "HMMMMMMMMMMMMM"! It was really YUMMY!
After dinner, we decided to go drinkerz. Along the way I went to pick Elaine as well, I called her to join us for a drink. Weixun suggested a trip to Europe next August. He was super excited about going on holiday then he insisted that I should go Germany because I love to drink beer! Next moment he said we should go Paris, it is so nice, so romantic...then he mentioned Van couver is also not a bad idea too........then Canada..... (Ehhhh Weixun, where you wanna bring us to uh???)
Actually I am quite excited about it but its next August lah!........
