These few days...

Started work last Fri at a station that I have never work before. Still trying to adapt to working life and the new environment. The first day we had a resus in the ICU. Nathan, Jasmine, Lee lian and myself were in the room helping with the intubation. I was telling them that it's a "refresher lesson" for me heee that evening was not very eventful though.
Today I had one eventful one at my station. One of the patient collapsed during the compress time. When I ran to her she has already turned purple though it was only less than a minute after we noticed the collapsed. I tried to wake her up but she was unresponsive. I CPR her while waiting for the E cart. After connect to the leads, we saw her ECG was in VF so we shocked her once. We managed to bring her rhythm back to sinus so she was intubated and sent to the ICU.
After the event I thought~ I was glad that I still remember how to work!
However these few days while I was working, I constantly think of my little darling. Little Joshua will stay at my mother in law'a place if I consistently work morning shift thoughout so I really miss him and his smell heeeee tired after work but no choice, I have to travel to my mother in law's place to visit him. My little darling sleeps everyday at 7pm so not too bad, after 7pm I will go back home to rest.

These were photo taken yesterday heee he was having fun!
After visited him yesterday I went dinner with pa near Sembawang shopping centre.
House of turtle soup!
Turtle soup and braised crocodile meat.
White meat (the sauce was GOOD!) and bbq wings that bought from a stall outside.

"UH... how to sit still???"
"Sit still.... uhhhh uncomfortable leh!!!"
"I want to bathe!!! Heeee daddy wrapped me with towel heeee"

Our Valentines day celebration

*Surprise*~ A bouquet of flowers sent to my house and it was from Silly hubby of course!
Dinner was at Grand Copthorne Cafe Brio's.
The tables were nicely laid but this was not where we were sitted. We were given a table near the corner.
The next picture was one part of the dessert counter.
Part of the seafood bar and cheese bar.
Free flow of champagne and gifts was a stalk of rose, chocolate, teddy bear, cardholder with keychain and ... dont know what exactly was the last thing hahahaha
Hahaha look at that napkin on Silly hubby. Silly right?!?!?! No lah, it's just for photo taking purpose heee he didnt put that on lah.
The food was GREAT!
Oyster shooter! Well... I dont know how to describe the taste. It's either you can accept or cannot accept...
The next picture on the plate was lobster, lobster claw (yummy), scallop (YUMMY), oysters (YUUMMMMMY). Everything was fresh.
First picture on the plate~ BBQ squid, curry squid, bbq king prawn, goose liver, zucchine an cod fish (YUMMY AH!).
Second picture on the plate~ roasted beef, snails with mushrooms and mussels soup.
I still prefer the seafood and sashimi. Had many plates of that. Lastly I only had a bowl of chocolate ice cream and strawberry chocolate fondue.
Great dinner with Silly hubby!
HAppy Valentines Day to everyone!

I am diagnosed with...

I experienced both hands pain a month after I delivered Joshua. I thought the pain will go off but then it is persistent. I finally make appointment to see the orthopedic. I am diagnosed with "De Quervain's tenosynovitis" which is a condition where the thumb side of the wrist becames painful and tender and it is caused by excessive use of the thumb results in inflammation of the tendons.
Sigh... hope I will recover from this if not I will have to go for surgery and it makes me very difficult to carry Joshua.

I have to wear this splint most of the time now .... :(

My brave boy!

Today was Joshua's appointment and injection day. We kept reminding him to get him ready for the "5 in 1" jab.

"Injection? Not worry about it! Take a nap before I see the doctor! ZZZzzzzzzz"

"Mummy said go see doctor must wear nice nice..."

"OEI, I have been waiting since 315pm and now is 430pm and it's still not my turn yet! I sit until my legs tired!!! What is this?!?!!??!
After the appointment we brought Joshua to another room for injection. Silly hubby was told to hold his arms and me to press down his thigh to prevent him from kicking. The nurse injected him and we expected a loud cry BUT he didnt even move! He just stared at his daddy and just stay very still coz we were pressing him down. My little boy is so brave not like me hahahaha people have to chase me around to jab me or I will have to hold towel, hold pillow when people give me injection!

I showered him when we reached home THEN he turned! Heee so cute... anyway... hope he dont develop fever after the jab...
