Today...

Has been having mood swings these couple of days. Probably because I have been working for the past ten days... or maybe related to some issues... maybe its the time of the month... I am not too sure about the cause either. I left workplace at 1515hrs sharp this afternoon, cant stay a minute longer.
Intended to go home to nap before meeting Candy at Shaw centre however no time to do that. I opened my letterbox before I drove off to Orchard. I received a reply from LTA stating that my fine is wavied! At least something to brighten me up! I really appreciate their help in assisting me to waive the fine. Thanks to whoever...
I met Candy around 1720hrs, she brought me round her shop and was introducing her products to me. I was definately listening as its rather interesting but at the same time I was feeling very lethargic... We had a solid 2 hours discussion on her products.
Meanwhile Sitilok sms me to go for dinner, hence we met in Shaw Centre Crystal Jade. He can see that I was super moody and tired! Yeah, perhaps due to accumulated stress uh???!!!?!?!?! Anyway after drinking plenty of tea at Crystal Jade I felt so much better. We had an almost 3 hours ala carte dinner! Just like having buffet uh...
At 2200hrs, he left to Balaclava and I went home... while turning out from the lot, my back of the car bumped onto something! I dont know what the hell was it but fortunately there is no scratch............ WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING!? When I am not in the mood, the day is always "SHITTY"!

New haircut...

Cant stand my unkempt hair, has been months since I last go to Timothy (my hair stylist). Usually I will just leave to him to style my hair, this time round he just trimmed a little and do more layered on my hair. He always said that my hair is too fine hence NO VOLUME... Uhm quite satisfied with my new haircut, actually not much of a difference, its only slightly shorter. Most of the time I dont mind cutting it short but I am attending a wedding dinner this Saturday so I thought its better not to cut it too short.
Just came home from drinkerz, tonight was rather crowded and smoky over there. I only had a bottle of Hoegarden coz doing morning shift tomorrow, dont want to drink too much. Oh talking about that, another 6 hours to go, I better go to bed early, NITEZ!

Sleepy.... tired.....

I slept for almost 10hrs but I dont understand how come I still felt sleepy and tired when I woke up this morning. I practically dragged myself to work, fortunately there were 5 staff this afternoon and was quite peaceful. PHEW....
This picture was taken on Ivy's solemisation day using Janice's camera. Nice picture...

Cafe Brio's

I had dinner at Cafe Brio's (Grand Copthorne waterfront Hotel) with Calvin. This is the second time I patronized this place, the first time was with Nathan and Sitilok. It is recommended by our colleague J Chow (Ehhhh definately not the singer!) and we really like the buffet spread!
We reached the hotel at 1750hrs and waited for the buffet to start. We were both so hungry hence went into the cafe to wait for the buffet to start! Finally 1825hrs, the waitress came to inform us that we could help ourselves with the buffet. I started with some cold dishes like sashimi, oysters (BEST!), caesar salad, cheese.... There were fresh drunken prawns tonight, the soup was good but Calvin said the herbs was too strong (rolled eyes!). The beef, veal and lamb were delicious too! We were rather full after the third round of food, partly due to some laughing on an incident happened on Calvin heeeeee... ok, I better dont laugh at him anymore!!! Dude, its over................
I brought phie phie out with me today because she wanted the "sut gou sok sok" (ice-cream uncle in cantonese) to buy her ice-cream! Hehe she was sitting in the car while I took the picture, so cute!

Sheryl's last day at work

Today was Sheryl's last day of work, we were sad that she is leaving because she is a very hardworking and efficient staff. It is really a pity that she left the company...
We took some pictures before she left... "Bye Sheryl, all the best to you"!

During break time, Nathan showed me the above picture and asked me whether did she send it to me. I told her "Uh I dont even remember when was it taken!!!" Hehehehe......

My past 4 nights

I was on night shift for the past 4 days and thank goodness, my first 3 nights was rather peaceful. The only patient who gave us problem is one who will go into APO every night at 2300hrs! The first night I was worried that we might have to intubate him, fortunately after 120mg lasix he was all right. Subsequent nights the SAME thing happened and it always happened at 2300hrs, I was then kind of "get used" to it. Gave him the same medical treatment followed by some reassurance and everything will be all right. WEIRD...
Last night was occupied. We admitted 3 patients, 1 APO intubated and 2 acute patients. Its all straight forward cases so was still manageable. I was glad that I was on with Ros and Alice, I enjoyed working with them! ;)
This morning went home and had a good sleep then went out to meet a friend. Dinner time, we had thai food at Golden mile. Tung hoon salad, beef noodles and tom yum soup, yummy! Though I just came back from Bangkok, I miss the thai food very much! I went drinkerz after dinner and met Alvin there. Only had one jug of beer then came back home to rest and blog... Got to work tomorrow again! YEah no rest day even after 4 nights because I requested to be off on Saturday to attend our dear registrar's wedding! Tiring week...

Ivy's solemisation ceremony!

Ceremony held at Carlton Hotel, it was like a gathering for us! ;)

My second lover ~ Aisha! Uhmmm still remember I am your second lover uh??! Thought currently you are so deeply in love and forgotten about me already?!?!?!!? HEeeeeee OPS!

Vincent and Ivy! OHHhhhhh SO SWEET!!!!!!!........

Me and the pretty bride :)

As Aisha is deeply in love recently, she was GIVEN the hand bouquet by Ivy presuming she will be the potential "bride to be!" HAhahahaha Come on Aisha, dont be shy! Hehehehe....

Car wash...

Yeah think my swift is down on luck, so I brought it for manual car wash! Wash away the "bad luck!" Heeeeee it is now shiny and clean after the thorough wash. It was worth paying $6 for the manual car wash, better than doing it myself!

These presents are from my friend! A nice Espirit Tee and a lovely little mug!
Phie phie is not the present, she just want to be in the picture! Hehehehehe... Naughty!

2 fines ;(

I was being fine for driving in a bus lane during prohibited hours on the 29th August. Well, from what I could remember, I was turning from a non bus lane to a bus lane and due to the heavy traffic I was not able to change to the right lane immediately (but I did within a minute)! Of course the officer who booked me wouldnt know about it hence I am going to appeal. In fact I just sent the email to waive the $130 fine. Those who drive, just be careful because you will never know where the officers are "hiding" and when you will be booked by them. A REGISTERED post will be send to you asking you to PAY or else will have to appear in the COURT! GOSH.....
While trying to get over the ache of being fine, I received another one! Whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh SOB SOB... $70! I was at fault because my car was found parking near the bus stop outside drinkerz. I was only dropping by there for less than an hour then I saw the officer (far from my vehicle), I drove off immediately and thought that fine would not be issused. Who knows his eye sight is better than mine, didnt expect him to book me from far! SIGH....Its so expensive to drive nowadays!
Friends, drive carefully, be more cautious and BEWARE!

The past few days...

The past few days after I came back from Bangkok:
Saturday: Was the party night at club Momo

Sunday: Dinner with Nathan, Alvin and Sitilok at Royal Hotel. We had steamboat buffet which cost about $25 per person and I enjoyed it very much. I love steamboat! YUMMY! There were Peking duck and I really love that! I told my dad about the steamboat buffet and he is very interested in it, I will bring him there someday. ;)
We went drinkerz after our dinner...

Monday: I lazed at home watched TV programs and VCDs. I dont really remember what I did at home actually. I only know that my luggage is still lying down there and I am too lazy to tidy it. Late night, I went supper with Sitilok at Jackson then went home to complete and post the BKK trip on my blog.

Tuesday: Went lunch with dad then lazed at home the whole day again. Watched 2 VCDs and threw some unless stuff that was lying around for months...then online...and edited some pictures of mine...followed by dinner with Sitilok at Koven in one of the HK style restaurant. The food was only so so... Sitilok was very disappointed with his wanton mee, I thought my "maggie mee" was fine but then it is definately not HK style noodles. After dinner we joined Nathan and Alvin at drinkerz, I sang a couple of songs, ate durian (me tried two bites!Eeee) and drank 3 jugs. I drove Sitilok's swift and I felt it was lighter than mine but again, I dont like YELLOW, so Sitilok you dont have to worry I definately wont exchange my swift with you!

Today (Wednesday): Its the end of my leave! I am starting my night shift tonight... already looking forward to my next leave which is on the end of November!

- Started our first day with Chao Phya Canal tour and visited Wat Arun
- On the way to Pattaya, we visited Siracha Tiger Zoo (we watched the tiger show, crocodile show, pig racing and there are other animals in the zoo besides tigers)
- Stopped by leather shop and honey production shop
- Lunch at "Jing Man Jiu Lou" and dinner at "Palladium" in Pattaya
- Paid to watch the "spider show", it is a combination of thai girl/guys and modelling show
- I ate DURIAN! Ehhh the durian in Thailand not very stink and its very sweet and BIG! We bought other fruits back to the hotel, the best one was MANGO with glutinous rice!
P/S: Hey, try to find me in the first picture! The answer will be at the end of the page hehe

DAY 3 ~ 12/9/06 Tuesday (PTT)
- Woke up 0630hrs and had breakfast in the hotel
- Mr Money brought us out to the sea! We had so much fun! We tried the parachute and went on the Jet ski! There were many rides to choose from but fortunately we chose the Jet ski, it was fun and exciting! The rest of the rides are like "crawling"... eg. banana boat... YAWN...
- We did the "fake tattoo" after our rides and bought some snacks - bbq cuttlefish and 2 big fat clams
- We took the so called "glass boat" out to sea to see the coral... well, we looked through the glass can only see stones/rocks, torn fishing nets, rubbish, sea urchin... then one very "kiasu" woman from our group said she saw sea cucumber! (ROLLED EYES!!!!!!!).... Well, if we want to see the real nice ones, we will have to pay 1600baht
- We went back hotel to change and have lunch then proceed to the Nong Nooch Village. This place is the Elephant zoo, we saw performance by the cute elephants and watched the cultural show. We bought bananas to feed the elephants but was scared off by them when they came in groups, hehe rather funny!
- After the long day, Mr Money brought us to the gem industry and dinner at Kinnaree seafood restaurant
- Visited Mike shopping mall and bought a few things from there. We intended to shop around the area however it was raining very heavily, the town was flooded! It was rather bad and kind of scary because it reminds me of the Tsunami...
- Mr Money brought us to one of the popular restaurant that serves bird nest, sharks fin soup and claypot crab vermicilli. Yummy, that was our supper!
- We slept like "PIG" after the long and tiring day.....

Yeah, that was me hanging in the air!

My tattoo! CHIOoooooo

The big fat clams and cuttlefish...there's another tattoo on my left arm ;)

The painting by one of the elephant!
The elephants ride bicycle, kicked football, threw darts and they even drew on T-shirts! I bought one drew by one of the elephant ;)

DAY 4 ~ 13/9/06 Wednesday (PTT back to BKK)
- Woke up for breakfast in the hotel again and Mr Money came to pick us at 0745hrs
- We visited Dreamworld. We spent about 4 hours there but didnt take any rides as it was raining heavily for almost an hour. We had buffet lunch in Dreamworld itself, ehhhh not very nice lor hehe...we had some snacks at KFC while hiding from the rain. The tuna salad from KFC is so nice! I like it!
- On the way back to BKK, we went to the local products shop
- Back in BKK around 1745hrs and went to the famous Four Face Buddha. Great, I longing to see the new Four Face Buddha. Its exactly the same as the last one though...
- Mr Money sent us to Twin Towers Hotel where two of our group members stay. The hotel served Teochew style buffet dinner. We enjoyed the dinner very much because we dont have to share table with the "kiasu" woman. Uhmm we dont quite like her lor... hehe

- Mr Money sent us back to Asia Hotel and we checked in to room 1114. (I dont like this room number! In cantonese it means "everyday everyday everyday DIE"!Eeeeee) HOWEVER, it was a very well furnished, spacious and beautiful room... toilet papers and tissue papers are folded into patterns and napkins folded to the shape of elephant!
- We dropped our luggages and called a taxi to the Suan Lum Night Bazzar. It is somewhat like Chatuchak but a much neat and clean version. There is a big ferris wheel, so nice! We were like lost in a maze after a while... WE BARGAIN and buy, BARGAIN and buy... buy and spent and buy and spent.... and bargain and spent....

Dreamworld...The fair Bala and the tanned Nathan!

The famous Four Face Buddha

DAY 5 ~ 14/9/06 Thursday (BKK)
- Woke up to have breakfast and went sun tanned at the swimming pool
- Walked over to MBK and started SPENDING AND BARGAINING AND BUYING....
- Lunch was Tom yam noodles soup, green curry with rice and otar, fried fish cutlet with mango salad and two very sweet ice tea
- We went over to Siam discovery centre as well but nothing much there. There is a two level shopping arcade (some sort like far east) nearby and we bought a few blouse from there. Nathan spent ALL her money... I left a little cash because I signed card earlier. We bought many things and one of the sales girl offered me a big solid plastic bag! I dumped in everything that I bought, the plastic bag was so useful! ;)
- Went Chinatown for seafood dinner again! Just LOVE the seafood there, so delicious and cheap! After dinner, we walked along Chinatown and have a durian (yeah again... Ok lah acceptable!) then bought some orange back to hotel
- Back to hotel, packed and slept.........

DAY 6 ~ 15/9/06 Friday (BKK)
- Woke up and had a heavy breakfast... ate more to survive through lunch and dinner hahaha because we were BROKE! We spent the 12000baht ($500), exchanged another 2350baht ($100) then signed about $150 each hahaha... who were those who told us $500 is too much!? There were some impulsive buy but generally was quite happy with what we got!
- Went sun tanned again and went back room to shower and packed. Check out at 1300hrs then sat at the lounge, Nathan signed card for internet access and two hot tea hehe... I went out to the street to buy some snacks to munch. Mr Money did not come to pick us, instead her daughter came
- Arrived at the NEW Suvarnbhumi International Airport at 1730hrs. It was the first day of operation hence we saw the crews taking pictures. We kept hearing announcement like "this is a historical moment" blah blah... yeah, first flight on the first day. We were kind of lucky as the 500baht tax was waived
- My luggage was 15.2kg
- Excited that we have 500baht so we wanted to buy something back from this new airport. However... we were greatly disappointed. The only shop that was opened was a duty free CART. Its not a shop lor, its a cart. Everything, everywhere is still under renovation... so we bought chocolate from the cart. That was our dinner, chocolate with complimentary coke, sounds rather pathetic uh?! The best part was we have the money but no where and cannot spend it! No place selling food or drinks... NOTHING available at all!!!!!!!

- ITS WAS SO DRAGGY WAITING AT THE GATE................. WAITED AND WAITED.....
- Finally board 3K514 at 2030hrs
- Back in Singapore at almost 12MN... Tired... Sleepy... SIEN! Thanks you Alvin for fetching us from airport!

OUR pendant...so sweet! Hehehehehe.....

Things that we bought for the past 6 days! Almost $1000 worth of merchandise!

Hours of WAITING..... in the empty airport....

I enjoyed this trip very much with Nathan, it was a very memorable one! ;)

HEY! Found me or not???????!!!! I was there lor! NAE NAE NAE!
