End of leave

Leave always end fast. It's the end of my 16 days leave and I will be back to work tomorrow :'( very sien leh....................
I wish I dont have to work!

29 years old birthday on the 29th!

Birthday eve- Silly hubby bought a cheese cake (the only cake that I eat!) and sang a birthday song for me at 12MN ;)
Birthday- Went Vivo to look for Timothy for hair cut! Finally can get rid of my long and messy hair! Silly hubby cut his hair as well.
After hair cutting, he bought me a birthday present, it's a Nokia hp and he got himself one as well. I got a red one and he got a black one.
Evening time, we had our dinner at Carnivore. Lots of meats again! It was good but a little salty!

Another 3 days....

Another 3 days will be the end of my "holidays"! Will go back to work on Sunday and it's starting of "sufferings"! How I wish I dont have to work................. getting very very lazy lately!
This afternoon sent ma to the hosptial and she will be starting TPN tomorrow. She will have to spend about 2 weeks in the hospital...... so poor thing, hope she will be healthy and fit for the op later.
In the evening, we met Nathan and Alvin for dinner. We had steamboat at Leslie's steamboat restaurant at Joo Chiat. It was not too bad but as I was eating, I was thinking dont know how much we would have to pay at the end of the dinner because it's ala carte style. Seldom have ala carte steamboat because it's always very costly. In the end, Alvin foot the bill and Nathan said it's for my pre-birthday celebration. So pai sae........ Thanks Nathan and Alvin! Will arrange one steamboat at my place next week k! ;)

Today is the 3rd day of a different role heeeee well, our life still about the same just that we have been "running about" between the two houses. It's kind of relax coz both of us dont need to work!
The actual day passed very fast. We were busy and tired but was fun. Not everything went on smoothly but we were still able to salvage in the end. I am waiting for the pictures and video to be ready so that I can post it here ;)

We had a voucher after we checked in to the hotel hence though we were not hungry we ordered the famous chicken rice and hawaiian pizza to our room heeeee we had it after the banquet with those banquet takeaways. I was glad that everyone enjoyed the food that evening!

Next morning we woke up for breakfast. It was great as well! We checked out the hotel at about 230pm after we calculated our ang baos.... it was a tough job man! Heeee.......
All right, let me recall more so that I can blog more!

Preparation

Tomorrow is the big day!
Well, today woke up around 9plus then went downstairs for breakfast and bought some vegetables, wanted to prepare some salad for tomorrow buffet heeeeee (think I got nothing better to do leh, still got time to prepare all these!)
In the afternoon I went pedicure and manicure... sat till my body ache! Very not used to all these things......... left the place around 340pm.
Went home and waited for Godparents to call. Yeah, they came all the way from HK just to attend my wedding. Actually I can really see many of my relatives are very concern towards me. All of them mentioned "Since young uh, you blah blah blah.....then now uh, wah getting married already...." then all of them gave very big ang baos and helped out so much. I am really grateful. They are definately more excited than me!
Uhmmmm everyone asked me to sleep early, how to sleep at this time! Ai yo.... 8plus already ask me to sleep *rolled eyes*...............

I cooked dinner........

This morning went JB with parents and Silly boy. We went in to have bak ku teh, went "Giant" to buy groceries and lastly wash the car and pump petrol. The bak ku teh was good and cheap.

After that we went Sheng Siong to get other groceries and at the same time I thought of cooking "fish head soup" tonight. It has been a very long time since I last cooked and it's the first time I try cooking fish head soup, fortunately it was not too bad! It was a very big pot like the one selling near my block but of course the taste can be improve. The other dish was sambal ladies fingers......... Dinner was nice and cheap! ;)

Finally....

Finally....... I waited long enough for this leave! Finally I have some time to rest and get away from work!
It will be a busy week for me... I have to prepare the sitting arrangement, pack my house (that will be the most tedious job!), and... I dont know what to prepare, just have to get ready for the big day!
Today just went to get our marriage certificate however it's an empty one heeeee have to sign it on the day itself. After collecting the certificate, we went to "celebrate" that we are half married hahaha..... went Plaza Sg for lunch and did some shopping.
In the evening, we collected our wedding album as well. Which also includes our portriat and other small albums. We are satisfied with everything ;)
So lazy now..... everytime I look at the mess in my house I feel very lazy and tired!

Theodor 2nd birthday!

Little Theodor 2nd birthday today, he was very happy and active this afternoon.... Look at his cake, there is "MIFFY"! So cute!

The little darling Genevieve was also very active today heeeeee.... cute little girl!

These few days

The past 4 days has been terrible during training and at work.
Work was terrible for the couple of days. Sad and sorry to say that the patients and relatives were really nuisance!!!!!!!!! They really made my life very miserable to the extend that I feel that I am going to throw fits! My temper and anger were not holding anymore. My face was BLACK and "expression-less"! (to the extend that boss can say I was "pitiful"). Can imagine how bad it was for the past couple of days. Really sucks!
It is good to be able to get away from work. However, the training was boring and all about theories in the book! The trainers DO NOT except other right answers except those stated in the book. I got so frustrated! I have no mood and no energy to study after work these few days hence I wanted to give up because I was very tired and fear to fail. Feel like throwing an MC this morning to escape the exam but.... I went. Surprisingly I passed without much problem. Funny though, the more I dont care, the more easy to pass.
Anyway.... I can have a good rest tonight.

Went for food tasting at the Pine Court last night (told you never study!!!!!) and the food was great!

Mushrooms, vegetables with abalone and stirred fried prawns in quail nest with celery

Ee fu noodles and chilled almond beancurd with pandan coconut cake

I like every dish and the servings were big. The fish was a very BIG one. We said to ourselves that it was only for last night however they heard us and garantee us that the portion will definately be the same as the actual day hahahaha... I specially like the lobster salad, sharks' fin, roasted chicken, the prawns and the Ee fu noodles. The only dish that I change is the dessert. I find it too sweet and the beancurd has got no almond taste, like eating something veyr artifical... I have yet to decide what to have but generally I am very satisfied with the dishes. Hope they will maintain this standard and this portion of servings on the actual night!!!!!

Bro Sim

Brother Sim and Athel already flew to Australia yesterday evening. I was not able to send them but luckily Nathan went to the airport to send them off and passed brother a gift.

Anyway, wanted to thank brother for the "bull advices" that he has given us, thank him for his support and concern to my mum, thank him for given us good calls and free food, thank him and Athel for the gift that they bought for my wedding and thank him for being a great brother to us!

Dinner was Botak Jones....... Mine was pork sausage and Silly boy had black pepper chicken!
Not too bad.......

Nurse I need you to help me loosen the pants, I got no strength... then wait for me to finish hor, I need you to tighten up the strings also.

Nurse, help me peel this egg, add a little soya sauce, not too much hor, a little, then some pepper... and also help me spread jam, my hands weak.

3) *an independent patient pressed call bell*
Nurse ah, I just went to the toilet, help me flush the toilet.

4) *whole family with a discharge patient*
Pt's husband: Nurse, I dont understand why cant you go to the pharmacy to queue for me. Why must we go down to queue for the medicine. The queue is so long. Dont mind u go down queue for me?

Me: Sir, I cant go down and leave my patients here. Why not you leave your prescription there and go down later, you dont have to wait there.

P's H: No, I dont understand why cant u go down queue for me.

Me: I have to look after the patients here and even if I able to queue for you, you still have to wait for me because the queue is long. I cant jump queue.

P's H: I am sure you all or inpatient have priviledges. I just dont understand why we have to queue, why not you ask the pharmacist to come up?

Me: Sir, today is public holiday, there is only one pharmacist in the pharmacy dispense medicine for all the patients, he cant come up to dispense just for you.

P's H: I just dont understand, then can u go down queue for me?

Me: Sorry, I cant help you, you just have to queue! *FED UP!!!*

Off day

Yesterday went Vivo in the evening for dinner. We brought pa along with us to Carnivore. Had lots of meat! The best one was the roasted chicken thigh and the ham. I ate a lot of vegetables from the salad bar while pa and Silly boy ate a lot of meats! It's my most relaxing evening of the week. Work has been exhausted.
Today though off but still have to go back for an hour of talk. Started 730am and ended 750am! Wasted my petrol, worst part was attendance not even taken. Should have stay at home to sleep!
Whole day slack at home. Time passes so fast on rest days....... Sigh..... have to start work tomorrow again!
