Second night

That day Silly boy and I went Tampines mall and we had lunch at the food court. I quite like the beef noodles there, it is mixed with a little garlic and it taste very good especially with some squeezed lime. Silly boy had his favourite soup set with minced meat and steamed eggs. The soup taste good too. Can try it out!
Just came home from work. Finally my second night was over. I dont know how come the two nights passed so slow...... maybe because the patients are all quite sick and some with lots of requests.
I ate a lot last night. I brought my favourite "everything mix" to work, it consisted a big container of vegetables and mushrooms. Before I had my "everything mix" I was already very hungry so I had some fries and a filet O fish heee that was from the doctors. After all of the above, I had a BIG PEAR! After that pear, I almost could not breathe! TOO bloated! I dont know why I am always so greedy!
SO I started walking around, find things to do, make myself work so that it helps in digestion however I still feel bloated until now. I am pretty sure that I will not learn my lesson, later when I wake up I will start to eat again heeeeeeee

First night

Last night was on with Renu, Pui Ching and Belinda. We took over 6 patients then later in the night took in 1 patient for SLED then followed by a STEMI patient who refused intervention. 4 intubated patients to sponge and out of the 4, 2 were very sick.
Uhmm consider managable but just unhappy with one of the MO. Threaten us that if we dont take the SLED patient IMMEDIATELY the patient will collapsed and we will answer for it. I went over to see the patient thought the staff may need help and at the same time take a look at the patient. I asked the MO was it need to go in immediately. She said "Cannot take is it? If patient collapse how?"
I was only asking "Is it need to go in now?" and not "Why come in to the ICU?" I dont understand why she must talk in that manner. After that I told myself could be this MO was not confident in manageing the patient that's why wanted to push to the ICU asap. If she is really concern about the patient, she should have at least accompany the patient to the ICU and hand over to the ICU MO but she didnt.
The patient was actually all right, not exactly breathless. She was on 100% O2 and the saturation was 100%. The ICU MO asked us how come this patient came in I told him because people said dont come in to monitor the patient will collapse lor. He laughed and said "She looks ok leh". Anyway, after SLED, the patient went back to where she came from.
I dont know lah. Nowadays whatever people order we just follow lah. Dont waste our effort to reason or argue. I believe in retribution. You nasty to people, one day you will get it back.

Sakura~ Orchard

Went shopping with Jenna in Orchard. We shopped from Far East all the way to Paragon however I didnt manage to buy anything :(
Evening time, Ronnie and Calvin came to join us for dinner. We had our dinner at Sakura. It was very very crowded!



The best dish was the cold dishes especially the raw prawns! Very fresh!

Silly boy and Silly girl's outing

This morning was so much better than the shift yesterday! This morning was peaceful..... Alice and I went in service after we handed over to the afternoon staff!

After work Mr Tay (Silly boy) came to pick Mrs Tay (Silly girl) heeeeee however I told him to park the car in the hospital (coz free after 5pm) then we take a bus to Orchard to avoid ERP and parking heeeee can save a lot leh!
Bored in the bus... Silly boy used a ticket to fold two "hearts" for me ;)

We went for our dinner after shopping. I brought Silly boy to my favourite Thai restaurant~ Sabai (the ex Thanying) at Nee Ann City. It's an authentic thai restaurant which I love very much. To me, they served the best thai food coz it's prepared by thai chef and their service is excellent.

Tom yam prawns ~ VERY SPICY but very delicious!

Steamed seabass with lime sauce ~ BEST AH!
Another BEST one was the pandan leaves chicken! We had prawn cakes as well!!!! Everything was up to standard and above average!


After dinner, we went back to Outram to shop again. The lights are beautiful but was very crowded!

Before we went home we had desserts.

Pm shift at work

This afternoon we were occupied with overflow patients. *SIEN*! I dont know why I become more and more lazy and tired and sick of work. Simply sien.........
Met Silly boy for dinner after work. We had dinner at the coffee shop near my block. He had sambal fried rice and I had "sam lou hor fun". Very delicious! ;)


Went home and saw my flowers heee today it grew an inch taller! ;)

A surprising day!

Silly boy was very lucky, he won a PSP though he didnt go for his company D&D. He was wondering whether to sell it off or keep it for himself heeeeeee
After came back from the market I went back home to prepare the ingredients for dinner tonight. I went back in the room and saw a SURPRISE! HEEeeeeeee

Though it was not a propose with candle light dinner, on the DHL balloon or the Singapore Flyer....... I was still very touched and happy!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my first diamond ring ;) and Silly boy put it on for me (Of course which means I said "YES")!

Mum's birthday...

Luckily mum was able to discharge yesterday so today silly boy suggested that we have dinner at the Soup Restaurant. The set dinner for four includes steam fish, fried rice, samsui chicken, soup, baby kailan, salad prawns and stirred fried venison. Thanks Silly boy for the dinner ;) (forgotten to take pictures because we were so hungry after queueing for 20mins!)
After dinner we went NTUC to spend my voucher. It was so crowded! We grabbed our stuff and proceed to payment then we went home.
I am doing morning shift tomorrow and heard that the total is low hence one of them are told to take leave. Sigh... think there will be only 3 staff on tomorrow.

Last night and sleeping day...

My last night was a very good one, started and ended with 2 patients. Thanks to brother Sim and also my partners Ros and Alice! I cooked supper for them ~ pasta, sharks fin soup and cockles! Uhmmm I was not satisfied with my cooking that night because I woke up late so I left only half an hour to prepare those dishes. Luckily they didnt grumble about my cooking heeee

The cockles really "stink" hahaha however it taste good!

On my sleeping day, I went KK to fetch mum and I fell asleep while waiting for the staff to discharge her. Silly boy came after work and drove us home because he knew I cant drive (I was SOOOOOO sleepy!!!!!)

I "hang over" immediately after I reached home! Slept all the way from 11am to 6pm then we get changed to go out.

We decided to go Vivo for dinner.


After loitered for half an hour, we finally settled in Modesto's (because no queue) hahaha I told silly boy that no queue doesnt mean not nice because I tried it before, its quite good.

Appeitzer ~ fried calamari, soft shell crab and prawns.

Main course ~ pork ham pizza and black ink pasta with scallops and prawns.

Silly boy said "BERI NICE LEH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

After dinner we decided to chill at Mt Faber ~ The Altivo.

My favourite Kilkenny!!!!...then Silly boy made the "tissue flower" for me again!

So difficult to capture the heart shape behind us... but finally we got it!
