MOS...

Yesterday Abi sms me asked us to go down to MOS to celebrate Kavi's birthday! Oh yeah HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO U KAVI!
Before MOS, I met Elaine and Alvin for dinner at Sakura at the Pasir Ris outlet. I have been to other outlets a couple of times but I dont really like it. However the one at Pasir Ris is different, the spread is slightly different and the food is more tasty!
We headed to MOS at 10plus and the first one who came was Sitilok. He had to leave early therefore he came early haha... He supposed to leave at 12am but I played "scissors, paper, stone" with him and he lost so he stayed till 1230am! Must be sleepy head now uh Sitilok???
There was no queue and no crowd until much later of the night. It became very crowded from 12 onwards, the music was only "so so" to me but its still quite fun. Alvin was "dancing, hoping, parade" himself the whole night and he seems to enjoy! Later came Kavi and Abi, then Aisha and Faezah! I supposed Aisha enjoyed herself very very much, right Aisha??? HAHAHA
Elaine, Alvin and I left at 3am but I dont know about the rest hehehe..... (WOW, Kavi and Abi are beautiful!...its a pity that these pictures were too dark!)

Shopping... movie...

I went shopping again and bought 3 blouse and 1 dress! Very contented and I think I should start wearing those that I bought before I start getting new ones! :)
Guess which movie I watch today????? Yeah, "SUPERMAN RETURNS"! People who knows me will not believe that I went to watch it. I remember I ever commented "HUH Superman... A flying human or creature????!!!! AI YOH, dont waste money watching it!" Yeah yeah, and I went to watch it hahahahahahhaha :P
Hey read on for my explanation! I wanted to past time, then there was nothing nice to watch therefore I chose the most popular movie lor!
About this movie, I would say Superman is indeed the man of steel (can never die!) and it seems like Superman can lift up EVERYTHING in the world (ship, aeroplane blah blah)! Yeah HE IS THE HERO! (To me, its a little comical though hehe no offence!) The story is predictable but I like because its easy to understand hahahahahahaha I hate those that need to scratch my head and THINK what it is trying to put across! Oh another thing about "Superman returns" is that girls will definately enjoy looking at the handsome HERO flying around hahahahaha

An occupied pm shift...

Dont know what happen these days, we were busy like "shit" be it on weekdays or weekends! Probably this is how we "pay back" our company after receiving our bonus! Nothing interesting to talk about for today, I went to work and practically.... WORK AND WORK AND WORK...... Fortunately we have time to go for our breaks so not too bad though.
Another morning shift tomorrow and I will have my rest days for the next two days!!!!!! YEAH, looking forward to it!!! :)

Work, shop, eat, drink!

My morning shift today was again TERRIBLE! At the end of it, my energy was like an almost dead battery! However, hehe my energy returned when I met Elaine after work (because we went SHOPPING!)
Today we went Bugis, Elaine bought me something to hang on my handphone. Its using small beads to form my name and it was very nicely done, I like it! Me in return, bought her an unique handphone strap (scented one!) and I am sure she likes it too! Other than that, we didnt buy much. I bought a packet of "bak gua" for my dad hehehehe actually I likes to eat too!
We met Alvin for dinner at AMK Hong Kong Street! I tried many times and I find it really nice so I brought them there. I ordered pork ribs, fried chicken, kang kong with cuttlefish, sliced fish guo tiao and fried fish noodles soup. We were extremely FULL but it was really delicious! YUMMY!
We didnt go drinkerz inn tonight but went party box which is located at paradiz. It was quite spacious but the air con is too strong for the two of us. 5 of us, we drank 7 jugs of beer all together with two other friends. One is Jeffery and the other one is known as "xiang jiao" (banana) hahahahahhaha that is "xiang jiao" in the picture on the right.
I was rather sleepy and tired at about 1plus, and I guess the others were tired as well hence we went home at about 2am........ Tired but I enjoyed!

buy Buy BUY!

I will not talk about this morning work because its really TERRIBLE, SIEN, SICK! Felt sick of work after this busy morning so I decided to send Elaine a sms to ask her out for shopping! I was excited about it because I have not taken any advantage of the GREAT SINGAPORE SALE! I wanted to meet her at Raffles City as I wanted to grab some cheap stuff from MNG but she called me and told me that there is no more MNG boutique there.
We headed to Suntec MNG, I was rather "depressed" because nothing attracts me! We went on to many shops, Elaine never stop buying and me, NEVER START TO BUY! UPSET, so we went over to marina square. We went in to the first boutique "littlematchgirl" and I MANAGE TO BUY 2 nice blouse! HEHE I was then in high spirit and we proceed to "ebase", tried many and Elaine got something again and me, NOTHING AGAIN...... I never give up/ "never say die" so I went in to "mphosis". I wanted to get a dress for a coming wedding dinner but I bought another blouse instead! I was very satisfied with what I have bought and we went to the food court for dinner.
After dinner we shopped again then Sitilok came along to join us. We didnt manage to buy anything thereafter so we went back to the food court again for Sitilok to take his dinner. While he was eating, I was busy taking pictures again! (To check on my face hahaha make sure its not getting any ROUNDER!) Sitilok bought a lot of DIM SUM to tempt me BUT I NEVER EAT! I AM DETERMINED!!!!!!!!
We went to chomp chomp because they wanted to try my favourite BBQ chicken wings. FORTUNATELY it was sold out hahahahaha otherwise I would have eaten!!!!!! We sat down and have a drink and I started to take pictures again hahahahaha.... OK OK, I know I am very vain!
P/S: Elaine gave me a BIOTHERM lip gloss with shimmering reflections! HEHE I like, thanks Elainenathan!

Club MOMO

It was my off day yesterday, I went out to meet Elaine, Ann, Huiling and Regine for our "long planned" steamboat dinner. It is located somewhere along Liang seah street. After dinner, we intended to shop at Bugis junction before we go clubbing but somehow mentioned about drinking so in the end we headed to drinkerz inn!
It was very crowded, but we managed to squeeze around our "small favourite table". I was rather depressed because people kept telling me I put on weight and its shown on my face! SOB SOB!!!!!!! I kept taking pictures of myself and look at it.... maybe lah but I think not that bad lah hor?????!?!??!?!?!!?!?!??! Must control my diet already!
We proceed to club momo after drinking quite a bit at drinkerz inn. I was rather tired and having slight headache but I thought since I have agreed to go I should just go ahead. Stitlok came to join us, he bought us lots of drinks! Thanks Sitilok, but we were not able to finish all. Aisha came at 12plus and the music was really good. We enjoyed ourselves very much until I came out from the toilet. (This picture of myself was taken in the toilet again haha to see whether my face became more rounded!) They changed to trance music at around 145am and I was having terrible headache! Elaine drank too much and was having giddiness by then. We decided to leave......... I felt terrible in the car, Elaine felt worst! Aisha was the most sober one hehehe.... Oh forgot to thanks Aisha for accompany Elaine home (and me halfway through home! HAHA)!
I had an enjoyable evening! :)

JB's Neway Karaoke...

I have been to Hong Kong's Neway Karaoke and it was really good. They served buffet and the songs were very new. Same goes to JB's Neway, they serve buffet at different time and snacks for supper. The sound system is good and songs are new as well. I have been there twice and so far I am quite satisfied with the food, the sound system and the environment. It only cost about $15!

There are different types of soups, sushi and desserts but I was too full to try out all of it!

YEAH, night shift over!

Fortunately I forced myself to sleep almost 7hours during the day to prepare for my last night! As I expected, we were pretty occupied and it starts from 12MN onwards.
There was one patient from general ward came in for BIPAP. She was so uncooperative and non compliant. She was very breathless and yet she kept removing her mask and wanted to get out of the bed. Can see that she is not doing well......
Just when we were about to settle this patient, another one came in from other station. This patient was even more breathless and restless! He collapsed shortly after he arrived. Given 21 adrenaline, max atropine, bicarbonate, magnesium, calcium, ran fluids, shocked 4 times...... resuscitated for AN HOUR but patient died... Sigh...
I was sOOOoooooo hungry after the resuscitation, I ate up the instant noodles and chicken herbal soup that I brought. That was not enough, subsequently followed by 2 bowls of seafood tom yum soup! HEHE then I felt very satisfied!
Thereafter was quite all right, only busy with some patients' changes but was quite settled around 5plus in the morning.
Finally my colleagues came at 650am.... I was very glad to see them! Took a picture before I went home... Phew, my last night was over..................

A "not too good" evening....

The list of encounters of yesterday evening
1) I purposely went out early (745pm) to pump petrol before I go to work, but on the way I stopped for MANY red lights.
2) Petrol kiosk was rather crowded so I have to wait and when comes to payment there were LONG queue.
3) By then it was almost 825pm and I need to reach my workplace at 9pm. While I was trying to rush off, a whole family of 4 (a mother carrying a BABY, a little boy and the father) were blocking the entrance! They were looking at their "CUTE LITTLE BOY" jumping around at the entrance! Eventhough I said "EXCUSE ME" they just dont bother! They were really testing my patience! Frankly speaking, I really feel like kicking the boy out! I just dont understand why must the whole family get out of the car to do shopping at the petrol kiosk??? The best part was they didnt even buy anything! It is a petrol kiosk not a shopping mall lor!!! Cant they just wait in the car??????!!!!!!! Really FED-UP!
4) Finally I reached my workplace at 850pm, the worst scenerio happened after I rushed out from the lift. I stepped on a pool of water and I slipped and FELL!!!!!!! That's my bruise on the left!
5) The ICU was like mad house, admitted almost 3 in the afternoon and another was on the way when I arrived. Left with one bed after that admission.
6) The night was actually all right, we have time to take supper, sat down and gossip. (I even have time to enjoy my favourite hot TEA.... and take a picture! ) Only frustrating things were that infusion pumps kept alarming, patients kept calling for nothing important, patients kept vomiting and so on.... encountered all the nonsense stuff!
7) The last bed was filled up at 5am! We were FULL at the end of the night!
Tonight will be my last night.......... Please give me a peaceful one!

2nd night....

Just finished my 2nd night this morning and there are two more to go. Last night, one patient came at 2050hrs where the afternoon staff were still around hence pretty soon the patient was settled and we were left with only paper work. The family was slightly difficult to handle, wanted things to be done in their own way. Well, they are rich and are in the medical line. I thought these people supposed to be more understanding instead of demanding!
The patient was fine until towards midnight. She kept wanting to pass urine but she cant so we inserted a urine catheter then 500ml of urine drained out. She felt comfortable and slept for an hour THEN.... she wanted to climb out of bed so I ran in and stopped her. She told me she wanted to go to the toilet I told her she has got a catheter and the urine will drain out, dont need to pee in the toilet. She replied "OH IS IT... ok ok"... seems to understand and lay down.
After 5mins she sat up again, my colleague went in, again she said she wanted to go toilet. My colleague told her the same thing, she replied again "OH is it? OK ok".... The story went ON AND ON AND ON AND ON the WHOLE NIGHT! I feel like getting a voice recorder and leave it in the room to repeat to her in every 5mins that she has got urine catheter insitu! I felt so stupid repeating the same sentence again and again but it was amusing! I was like the VCR hahahahhaa... Fortunately we were not too busy otherwise I would be very frustrated. However, I cant blame her, I guess she was slightly disorientated due to some electrolytes imbalanced! I hope she gets better and is transfered out by this afternoon! hehe
Heavy rain this morning again, but I managed to speed halfway through before it rained. Hehe I drove to the market to buy COCKLES! I will be bringing cockles to work and will be cooking stingray, squid and kangkong with beef!!!!!!! Yummy! Ate alot these 2 nights :( FAT!

Theodore's 1st month celebration!

Yesterday was little Theodore's one month old! This cute little baby likes to frown but he looks quite cool when he does that haha. Little Theodore hates the water and he will FROWN when he touches water!


Little Genevieve likes to "tae"... a mood swings little baby! Sometimes I carry her, she will "talk" to me, play with me but sometimes she will CRY! (I love to see her cry SO CUTE! MUACKS!) ISNT SHE CUTE????!! My young cousins were enjoying their food very much!
Grandma sat and watched a television program which I dont she understands! Soooo lonely!

I just came home after my night duty, its a very nice weather to sleep but definately not a nice one to drive. I could hardly see ANYTHING on the road just now! The rain was so heavy and the wipers were "working" hard to sweep the water away from the windscreen hahaha I dont even know whether I was driving within the lane or not! PHEW fortunately, I reached home safely to post a blog for you people to read hahahahhahahaa.....
I wanted to blog something interesting but I really dont remember what is it. I think I need to sleep NOW, I am not in the right mind already.... GOOD NITEZzzzzz

My off day yesterday...

Yesterday, Elaine decided to take leave because there were extra staff working and the total in the ICU was low. I went to fetch her around noon and our first spot was Thomson Yaohan... Eh nope, its Thomson Plaza. There is no more Yaohan long ago! We went for tea at BK then we shopped around and saw "Lush nails" having 20% discount so we went in for pedicure! I was quite satisfied with the services they provided, it was quite comfy and I almost fell asleep! On the left is my PINK nails...
We met Alvin for dinner and he brought us to a famous steamboat at beach road. I quite like the steamboat because they served fresh cockles and beef. The steam chicken supposed to be famous but I thought there are nicer ones at the other places!
Alvin suggested to try out some other pubs... so we went to Tanjong Pagar but we peeped at it and found that Uhmm it may not be suitable for me and Elaine to go in hehehehe get what I mean? We then changed to one of the pub near outram mrt... the beer and the environment was lousy! Alvin said "I think drinkerz inn is still the best HOR?"
Guess what, yeah we went back to drinkerz inn around 9plus. As usual, saw a lot of familiar faces and although it was not very crowded, we enjoyed ourselves!

About today....

I was off today however I went back for ward meeting and I received a good news which was the bonus that we will be getting this month! WOW............. Calculated already, uhmmmm will be able to try out most of the restaurants that I wish to go! YEAH! (phie phie: mummy mummy phie phie also want to go!) Hehehe phie phie havent sleep ah, ok, mummy will bring u to those restaurants, hmmm mummy didnt bring phie phie out for quite some time already! Thereafter I went for dinner at Crystal Jade then followed by supper at Jackson with Nathan and Alvin. Sigh, I will put on weight soon! Today, the cockles at Jackson was very fresh and big! I really love it! YUMMY YUMMY!
Next, we went to our usual spot which I dont need to mention where. Was rather enjoying until something happened. There was some commotion went on but doesnt involved us. We were there watching the "show", I was so afraid that the people will come over to my place to "fight".... Fortunately nothing happened to anyone... PHEW!
I am bloated again.............. GOSH!!!!!! I AM GOING TO BE A FATSO SOON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the new game that Elaine and me is crazy about recently. "Superman! Batman!" We have forgotten to take a picture of "Wonder woman"! HAHAHAHAHA
The pictures were not very clear however I dont expect much from a handphone! I find that pictures are clearer when there is better lighting. Anyway I am not too fussy over it and I like those pictures that I took! :)
