WORK IS KILLING ME!!!!!!!

ASM dinner at Ritz Carlton

Dont know what happen to my connection again, cannot upload pictures again, so irritating.

Anyway, I just came home from the ASM dinner. Had fine dining tonight ~ crab timbale with avocado with yellow bell pepper juice (appitizer), mushroom consomme with spinach and chicken roulade (soup), pan fried snapper fillet with celeriac sauce, slow roasted tomato and fish jus (main course), vanilla panna cotta with berries compote (dessert) and freshly brewed tea.

Well, fine dining mah, so I need to have 3 bread to fill up my stomach! In fact, everyone took an average of 2 pieces of bread.

The food..... hmmmmmmm not everyone will like it....

Dinner

Dont know how come nowadays very difficult to load pictures on the blog. Maybe something went wrong with my pc again!
Anyway, today was a long day again. Did a lot at work and finally at the end of the day, we gathered to have a nice dinner at M hotel!
There were 15 of us~ David and family, Ann and family, Mirana and Ryan, Elaine and Alvin, Sister Ong, Walla, Huiling, Regine, Ewe, Silly boy and myself. The food is good as usual ;) especially the chicken, fish and cockles. It was a "farewell dinner" for David and family because they are leaving to Australia soon. Brother David and Athel bought me a beautiful pair of ear rings and necklace from Swarovski as a wedding gift. It's really beautiful, thank you bro and Athel!
YEah! It's SAT tomorrow. Sunday will be my rest day! FINALLY........

Ann's last day

Today was Ann's last day and she bought us lots of donuts! She was like a crying baby this afternoon!!!!!!! (and that made many cried with her as well!) I felt sad at the moment too but I am sure she will enjoy the work over at the other department.

Roster

Was trying to do the staff roster for the past days. The staffing is very tight however thanks to a few staff who are willing to cancel their leave to help out. BUT I am still short of staff..... it is such a headache.
Finally I thought of a way ~ put myself in the roster as well lor! *roll eyes*!
I went to talk to boss and she agreed with the suggestion. I was glad, though I have to work in the station but at least the problem is solved.
YEAH! I can stop staring at the stupid roster again!

Slept the whole day today then woke up around 4plus and went to see a doctor. My flu is still bad and the cough worsen...... Dont feel like going to work tomorrow but ... cannot lor........
At 630pm we went downstairs (I mean the bridal shop) to select our photo. Very satisfied with the pictures and outdoor is definately nicer than the indoor pictures ;) these are some of the pictures that I took using handphone, it's blur but never mind lah hor, "it's hot from the oven"!

AL tomorrow

I was down with flu for 3 days. I started with very bad sore throat for a day then flu for the past 3 days with yellow phlegm and slight fever on the second day. A few said I looked sick and tired and it is quite true coz I was supposed to work 11 morning shift for this two weeks. The more I think of it, I feel more sick!
I will see a doctor tomorrow, my nose block is very bad but will not take MC so I take my own leave instead. Personally I think it's not so nice to take MC so I rather take my own AL. At least a day to rest (a break from the 11 days morning shift!)!
Ok, going to sleep....... got a bad headache now..................... Everyone do take care, drink more water, the "flu virus" is spreading......

New role

Was out in side station to deputise this two weeks and I dont know how long it will last. Well, my feelings about it.... there are many new things to learn, a lot of things to follow up and look into, a lot of PR, a lot... a lot to do...... I dont hate it but I dont like it either. Too much of a responsibility especially now have to deal with complains and "staff satisfaction".
Yeah, I think to make sure everyone is happy at work, we have to look into the staff welfare. Which includes try to accomdate to their needs and requests and also help them as much as possible at work. It's really not an easy task. I didnt encounter BIG problems, this is just how I feel.
I know our boss is really nice, she always try her best to help us, give us chances to upgrade and move forward. I took up this new role partly also because she "created" this chance for me to learn.
I do not know whether I want to continue my new role. I enjoy very much working in my ICU but I cant be stuck there forever (because we also get sick of being deployed, being stress at work) however I am rather relectant to move forward.......... *sigh*

Outdoor shoots!

Today we went Kent ridge park, Hort park and Sentosa for outdoor photo shoots. We saw some of the pictures, we were very satisfied though the weather was not so good. Surprisingly the effect at Kent ridge park was good though its only trees ;) Cant wait to see the pictures!

Indoor photo shoot

I was working this morning then Silly boy called to say that the bridal shop called him mentioned that one of the couple who supposed to take indoor shoots was sick so asked if we are available. It will take about 6 hours...........
I was a little relectant in the beginning because Walla reminded me that I need to paint my nails. After a while I thought I can stick the fake nails on since it's only indoor, so I agreed to take the photo so that I dont have to spend the whole day taking pictures tomorrow.
It took us five and a half hour in total. We posed and smile and posed and laughed at each other! It was fun but it was really tiring. I took a long time to remove the make up and wash my hair. Tomorrow will be my outdoor session........... they wanted to bring us to Bintan and showed us some pictures that they took there. It was really beautiful. We will not be charged because Uncle knows me for many years. However, I was really lazy to go leh plus I always have sea sick! Frankly, it is really very beautiful. It is a very good offer but we turned him down......
Anyway, hopefully all my pictures will turn out nice!

A good evening

The ward has been busy the past few days and finally today we had a good evening. We worked with 3 staff (as usual someone MC and took one of us out) but fortunately we "sat" the whole evening.
Busy with the wedding preparation last week hence not much photos taken to blog. It is kind of settle now and there is nothing much to follow up except to wait for the day to come........

Today....

Just came back from the bridal shop ;) I think I am the least fussy bride hahahaha yeah, I saw what I like and I just try then I get it. It's that simple. I like the "Kua" heeeee I look good in that. After the trying of the gowns, I went for a trial make up. The make up was good as well, very natural.
Will discuss with the hotel about my banquet dinner tomorrow. Phew....... finally can get everything settle soon...... it's tedious but fun ;)

Day 5 of my leave...

Just came back from a wedding dinner at "Grand Shanghai". The ambience is good and the food is up to standard. It comes in individual serving which is quite good because I do not know most of the people who sat with me.
YEah, tomorrow going for a short break in Genting. Hope I win BIG MONEY AHAHAHAhahahaa

Today is my 4th day of my leave. Well, was busy packing my room and asked about our wedding banquet. Still awaiting reply from two of the hotels. Most of the dates are full and probably we will just grab the available one! Heeeeee yeah, maybe will be in next month near my birthday!!! ;)
