She commented...

"You have been there for a while, there is no feedback on you so that means you have not been working".
I feel like asking "Have you overlook or maybe my name just cannot get into your head?"
I swear that I have seen 3 positive feedback of my name for the past month since I came back to work and this was the kind of comment I received.
Frankly I never felt so demoralize like today. Yes, I agreed that 3 feedback may not be a lot but it is also not nothing. Somehow I knew she will pass this comment one of these days so ever since I get back to work I tell myself at least one positive feedback every month and what I received has already exceeded for the month. I thought it was quite good but she thinks otherwise. Sometimes she commented on some staff "So many positive feedback but cannot work. Only know how to talk". Now she commented no feedback means not working. How confused!
I told sister yip about it and sister yip was kind enough to give me this advise "It's all right, she was also looking at me hinting that I dont have but I know that I do my work and it's good enough that my gals got a lot of positive feedback. These positive feedback that the gals received reflected on me, reflected that I have guide them properly. As long as there is no complains means that you have actually done a good job. I dont mind whether I get anything or not, as long as my staff got it."
I felt better after listening to her. What sister yip said is true, our conscience is clear. Say what she wants!

About work...

Have not been blogging about work for a very long time. Well, I started work in another station after my maternity leave. I feel every station is about the same, patients are either very fussy or very good or either very sick or quite well. Of course we wish for the good for everything but that is not possible. There is always a mixture of everything that makes life challenging.
I have a patient who is very attention seeking. His days are numbered that's why he seeks attention from everyone. Wants people to massage him, wants people to please him, wants people to attend to his needs, wants this and that...... everyone gets tired and sick of him. Sometimes I find him very pitiful but then at times I really find him irritating when he makes things difficult for everyone of us. He likes to say "Why are people treating me like that? Why dont attend to me??? This is not the way to treat me!!!" But did he ever reflect how he treated us???
About the staff in the station... it is a very sensitive topic. I should say every staff got their strengths and weaknesses. Hope that some of them could build up more strengths in them.
Generally it is quite a nice ward to work in because I got a very good partner. Sister Lee is humble and approachable. I am lucky to be able to work with her.

YES! AK IS COMING TO SG!

Aaron Kwok’s De Show Reel Concert was recognized by the Guinness World Record Committee in February 2008 for the largest revolving indoor stage. This is the first time a Chinese singer has been awarded the Guinness World Record for a concert! He kicked off 16 shows of the much talked-about De Show Reel World Tour at Hong Kong Coliseum!

It is no wonder that his stage performances have won him acclaim and resulted in his being dubbed by the entertainment industry as the “King of Stage”.

Aaron Kwok, Asia’s “King of Dance” as well as one of Cantopop’s Four Heavenly Kings will thrill the Singapore audience by performing his chart-busting songs on a 10 by 9 meter, 450 degree revolving stage. During the show, the stage will take Aaron back and forth as it rotates vertically and horizontally! The concerts were a triumph and were billed as “The Most Outstanding and Spectacular Concerts of the Year” by the regional media due largely for its outstanding stage design & props , complete with a 4-sided “water catwalk”, extravagant costumes and energetic choreography!

The Singapore audience can now be a part of this electrifying concert experience! Aaron will be bringing with him the crew that built the world record stage.

YEAH! I already got the tickets!!! Looking forward to 30th May!!! YEAH YEAH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joshua is 4 months old today!!!

Woke up early in the morning to shower!
"I am going to shave my hair because I am 4 months old today! I am going with daddy, mummy and yi por Yvette!"
Went to KKH to one of the shop "Hua xia tai mao bi centre" to shave Joshua's hair and at the same time use his hair to make hair brush.
Joshua was asleep initially but after a while he woke up. Fortunately he was very cooperative in fact I felt he enjoyed the process hahahaha

Sat up to shave the back of the head.

"YEAH! It's done!!!"
"In the car seat way to AMK hub to get some groceries..."
"HEee I like my new look! Feels cool..."
