You are Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Perceiving.

My personality is:

Your Personality Is
Rational (NT)

You are both logical and creative. You are full of ideas.
You are so rational that you analyze everything. This drives people a little crazy!
Intelligence is important to you. You always like to be around smart people.
In fact, you're often a little short with people who don't impress you mentally.
You seem distant to some - but it's usually because you're deep in thought.
Those who understand you best are fellow Rationals.
In love, you tend to approach things with logic. You seek a compatible mate - who is also very intelligent.
At work, you tend to gravitate toward idea building careers - like programming, medicine, or academia.
With others, you are very honest and direct. People often can't take your criticism well.
As far as your looks go, you're coasting on what you were born with. You think fashion is silly.
On weekends, you spend most of your time thinking, experimenting with new ideas, or learning new things.

My Lucky Underwear is: Blue haaaaaa

You are caring and extroverted. You've made relationships your number one focus, and your lucky blue underwear can bring some balance to them.
You thrive in one-on-one situations. You are a good listener and a natural born therapist.
Sometimes you let the concerns of others become too important in your life, leading to stress and worry.
If you want more balance, put on your blue underpants. They'll help you take care of yourself first.

Volunteer work

Was at one of the community centre doing volunteer work yesterday together with Nathan and Choon Chai. We have been to the same one last year, the performers, the volunteer workers and the elderly were mostly the familiar faces that we have seen.
This "free dinner" was sponsored by our organisation for the elderly. Besides the ten course dinner, the elderly was each given a goodie bag which contained a tin of biscuits, sardines..and one more thing, uhmm I have forgotten. Additionally 3 lucky winners from each table was given a hamper that contained food, Johnsons products and .... forgotten what else... Lastly, each was given an "ang bao" (I heard was $10 each) and mandarin oranges.
They were very grateful and we enjoyed serving them too. ;)

Poor man

Dad and I took lunch in the food court while waiting for mum. When I came back to the table with dad's food, I saw a laptop carrier (I supposed with a laptop in it) on my seat which belonged to a man sitting together with us. He saw me approached hence he removed the bag and placed it on the floor beside his seat. Immediately after he finished his food, he suddenly jumped out of his seat and ran away. I wondered what was the hurry then after a while he came back with a security guard...

Man: I placed my laptop here, just beside me but its gone!
S Guard: Serious? Laptop?
Man: YEAH, I didnt lie! Its a laptop!!!!!!
Me: Yeah, I saw a carrier, he actually left on my seat then when I came he placed it on the floor beside him.
Man: Yes yes! You saw right??!!! She saw, she saw!!!
Woman: (this lady was sitting opposite him at the next table) But when I sat down, I already didnt see the carrier...
Man: BUT its here, I placed it HERE!
S Guard: I bring you to make police report ok???
Man: OK OK!

The food court was so crowded, all the seats were occupied yet the person who stole the laptop can easily get hold of the laptop. Its almost impossible to me however it really happened. The person was very fast otherwise we would have notice. I supposed everyone was very hungry, very engrossed in chewing their food including the man himself therefore no one actually notice anything.
Sigh...To me the lost of the information in the laptop is more heartache than losing the laptop!

The past two days

FRIDAY:
Sister Ong organised a last minute steamboat at her place on Friday. I told dad to gather all the ingredients for us because all of us were working morning shift. However it was still very rush after work. I prepared the food and brought over to Sister Ong's place at 6pm, most of them were already waiting there. The steamboat was delicious because we used msg cubes for the soup base (that was the reason why it was so tasty BUT very thirsty after we ate!)

After dinner we had a bit of "healthy gambling" heeee played a while of mahjong and black jack. This cute little boy is Koh's son~ Pin Hao.

SATURDAY:
Busy day yesterday. I woke up 1030am to prepare the bbq food for David's house warming. I went downstairs to do some last minute shopping for the bbq ingredients and get some foils to wrap the marinated food. Marinated 70 chicken wings, squids, stingray and mixed mushrooms, my fingers almost go numb after that. I was done at about 230pm, luckily Nathan came to my place to help me carry those stuff to my car. Halfway through the process it rain heavily and we were all wet!!!!!!!
The worst part was when we reached David's place, there was no one available to help. We have to carry everything ALL BY OURSELVES (at one time!)! By the time we reached the function room we were so worn out!!!!! It was not finish, we have to stick the sausages, crabsticks, sotong balls and chicken wings for bbq and then get ready the bbq pit. By 5plus in the evening, I was so exhausted.
The hateful charcoal really pissed me off! We have been trying to start the fire since 5pm and after an hour it just doesnt burn. *Frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* I was very impatient plus really pissed off, almost wanted to give up! Finally, Nathan went out to get a new packet of charcoal and starters. It really worth the walk out to get the charcoal because we only took less than 10mins to start the fire with the new packet of charcoal. *ROLLED EYES* Wasting everyone's time and energy in the beginning!
Nathan and I were busy with the bbq so I didnt take any pictures. David invited many guests and prepared many food for us.
THANK YOU DAVID!
Around 9plus, I drove to Auntie Yvette's place because baby Genevieve was there! Too bad she was running fever so she doesnt have the mood to "entertain" me :( "Healthy gambling" was going on in the house and I won. I went home at 330am in the morning then again I found money at the carpark heeeeeee again uh!!!!! Yeah, it was the second time this week. I am really lucky after praying!

My good luck is back!

Remember my bad day two weeks back??? That was a very terrible day and my luck was very bad for the month of January. I realised something went really wrong so I decided to do some praying anyway its the end of the lunar year so its due. I always do it before the beginning and the end of the lunar year. During praying the person will just mumble some words and less than 5mins it will be done. I went two weeks back and the same lady did it for me however this time round she stopped in between the praying

Aunite: Do you realise your luck has been down? Never like that throughout the years right??
Me: YeAH LOR!!!!!
Then she continued to pray and stopped again...
Auntie: Your luck is not so good so you better dont go visiting in the hospital.. because there's a lot of "things" in the hospital
Me: UH auntie, I work in the hospital leh!
Auntie: Uh..in that case, ok I helped you to pray....
Pray....PRAY..........
Auntie: Do you drive?
Me: Yes..
Auntie: Drive carefully, dont be impatient and reckless...
Impatient is very me.... she continued to pray AND STOPPED again
Auntie: Do you drink and drive???
(UHMmmmm)
Auntie: DONT DRINK AND DRIVE, dont think a little is ok!!!...
Me: Orrrrr

She is so accurate...I am not those superstitious type but each year I go back to pray because I find it makes a difference. My luck was better after the praying!

1) The next day, I striked lottery heeeeee small amount but I was quite happy about it
2) No admission for my 4 night shift
3) My mum's medical report is rather normal, at least not the worst scenario
4) Today I received my promotion letter!!!
5) I found money on the floor heee
6) Importantly, in general everything went smoothly...
Yeah! I hope my luck will remains good for the rest of my life!

NeW YEar

First day of CNY in the evening:
Was at MOS that evening together with my cousins and friends. It was very crowded but was a fun night! The smoove room was very crowded too hence hardly any space for us to dance. I think I reached home around 3am...as usual lah, dont remember anything after drinking too much hahahahahahhahaaha
Second day of CNY:
Went visiting with my mum at YCK, Toa Payoh then Jurong (grandma's house). Grandma's house was of course very crowded and noisy hahaha too many people gathered in the house but I like it, its very nice and warm! Grandma looks more strong and healthy than before, feels happy to see her able to stand up and walk around in the house without much assistance.
Yeah, cannot forget to mention my darling baby Genevieve!!!!! She is sooooooo cute! Couldnt blog the video that I took otherwise would have let everyone see how smart she is! Only 14 months old yet she can "perform" very well hahaha my uncle said we treated baby Genevieve like "monkey" because we kept asking her to show us what her mummy taught her. She is really so cute, her mum said I took more pictures on Baby Gen than her hahaha..... Baby Theodore was not in the mood yesterday, he was crying and refused to let me carry him, only managed to take a few pictures with him!

This means "ELEPHANT"!

The crying baby Theodore!
I went drinkerz at 1130pm, it was also very crowded but the atmosphere was good heeeee ok going to be late for work! HAppy NeW YEar once again! Cheers............

Happy new year! Finally finished my 4 nights, phew, no admission for the past 4 nights! There are many goodies at the nurses' counter, was munching throughout the night. This year is the 3rd year that Belinda, Alice and myself "reunion" in the workplace heeeeee

Towards 12 midnight, we saw fireworks outside the window. It was mostly blocked by the buildings however people were still excited, trying to catch a good view of it ;)
Just came home from my uncle's place at Jurong. Many relatives and cousins were there, I like the feeling of getting together, its very warm though its only once a year. These were the "ang bao" that I collected hahaha still collecting at this age uh heeeeeee

CNY's eve

The past 3 night duty was great! No admissions and everything went smoothly, hopefully tonight will remains the same!
My mum told me to change money for her hence went to the bank early this morning after work. Thereafter drove to seng song to buy some ingredients for cooking tonight. I walked pass my favourite fishes department, I cant believe that the fishes are selling so cheap! I saw my favourite soon hock and guess how much is it?????? The man chose for me a super big and a medium size one for only $4.50! Only $4.50! Remember that day I went JB, it cost about SGD$40!!!!!! I spent a total of $25.50 on scallops, half kg prawns, 2 soon hock, 2 packets vegetables, 1 packet mushrooms, 1 packet assorted yong tau fu, 1 packet jelly fish, 1 oyster sauce and 1 pepper sauce. So many stuff for just $25.50! However the place was super crowded and the queue was very long!

I have done with the cooking, I like the soup, it contains crabmeat, vegetables, mushrooms, scallops and abalone. I "invented" this soup myself so dont ask me what is it called hahahaha... I cook these food for the night duty staff to eat, later I will be going out for dinner with my uncle's family.

HAPPY NEW YEAR IN ADVANCE TO EVERYONE! ;)

V day card

When I went to work yesterday evening, a card dropped from my locker. Guess who was it from??? Yeah, from my beloved Nathan! Heeeee so sweet however I was not so thoughtful, didnt get her anything! Never mind I will bring her for lunch one of these days! ;)
My first night was all right, resuscitated one of the patient from other ward. She died upon arrival to the ICU so everything was settled by the other ward staff, we were just lending a helping hand. Besides that, was one of the very irritating patient asking for water and food the whole night. He turned violent after being rejected many times, our doctors told us to "ignore" him. Its easy to say than done, we were there the whole night dealing with him, answered his "repeated questions" over and over again. So irritating! Hope he is out by this afternoon!
So sleepy, I only just woke up.............

JB

Went in to JB yesterday evening after ward meeting. Initially wanted to have seafood at the usual place (Sri Debrau) but decided to find somewhere with nice ambience. Consulted one local, he recommended Marina seafood that was near the beach (or rather sea) so we drove to search for the place. We were able to find the place without much problem however the food was only so-so...... Yeah what we wanted was ambience mah, so we dont expect too much on the quality of the food. We had chilli crabs, roasted duck, garlic prawns, stirred fried asparagus, and a very fresh steamed HK style soon hock. The fish was the best followed by the prawns. Forgotten to take pictures of the dishes because I was too hungry! The dinner cost about S$100.

The waitress of the restaurant recommended us a chilled out place which is called the "Danga bay". It was a good recommendation, I supposed the place is newly developed and it has much better ambience than the restaurant! We should have our dinner there instead. (well, now that we know, there is still next time!) It was very relax and comfortable with the cool sea breeze, we sat down and had our beers... There are many different types of "vehicles" to rent for riding, we saw something like a mini train, a 2 and 3 seats bicycle (3 seats bicycle, so long!!!), a 2 seats bicycle with shelter and steering wheel (????)... Its kind of interesting. There were also people selling flowers because its the eve of valentine's day.

Though JB is not somewhere far, its sometimes nice to leave the country for a "change of environment". I enjoyed...

Bad day

Busy and bad day....

1) My dad intended to sell away the antiques at home so he took many pictures of them and told me to develop them to show it to the buyer. Woke up at about 11am to do that.
2) Drove from AMK to Orchard Scotts to Melaleuca. Got the things that my friends ordered. The traffic was slow...
3) Then, I drove from Orchard to Turf club along Bukit Timah. I bought my car there hence they offered me cheaper price for car insurance for the first year, the condition was to get from them and pay cash there and then. Well in order to save the hundreds of dollars, I accepted the offer. I thought I should draw the money at Turf club in case I get rob on the way... Guess what? The one and only ATM was out of order. They still accept credit cards however an additional 3% is payable which comes up to almost $40 and I thought its not worth paying the $40. I have no choice but to drive out and search for an ATM. Along the road.... there are no ATM.... I drove all the way to... I think its Bukit Timah plaza (the one with a big Macdonalds) and finally found one. After withdrawal, I made a U-turn back to turf club, I missed the first turn luckily there is another one to the Turf club... the weather was terrible, can imagine how "hot" I was!
4) With my car insurance, I proceed to Sin Ming to pay my road tax. Initially the security uncle dont allow me to stop my car there but I told him I wanted to pay road tax and promised will just park for a while. Fortunately he is kind enough to allow me to park otherwise I dont know what to do...
5) Tired...my legs were tired from driving but I have to send my mum to KK to see her scan reports. From Sin Ming back to AMK then to KK. The waiting time to see the doctor was long, very long... my backside was numb after hours of sitting... The parking fee was $5.25 for 4 hours...

So busy that I didnt eat for the whole day..... I am tired, so tired...... and today was a really bad day.......................

Today

Early morning was rather busy, toilet bath 2 big fat patients, did one pacing and admitted one drank patient! We were lucky to have Sister Ong around again, she helped us a lot. Chuan Kah cooked breakfast for us, it was a very nice big pot of noodles with lots of mushrooms, fishcakes, vegetables and..... a lot ingredients. We were quite settled in the afternoon and Walla have time to feed her favourite patient. Look at her, happily feeding her favourite auntie.

Recommended Sitilok to Timothy as well hahahahahaha cant really see Sitilok's new hairdo in this picture but I think Tim did it quite well. We had dinner at Hard Rock then picked Nathan from Plaza Singapura to drinkerz. Nathan had a bad stomach flu right after she reached drinkerz, we suspected it was the fast food that she ate. She had chinese tea instead of alcohol but she vomitted....
:( Nathan hope u are feeling better.......

Nice evening at work

Yesterday:

Yesterday after my afternoon duty, I joined Sitilok and friends at Balaclava. I ever mentioned whenever I go Balaclava I will definately meet one or two of my friends and last night I met my sec sch friend~ Justin! So nice to see him again ;) After I drank about 2-3 glasses of beer, we switched to drinkerz. Maybe I didnt have my dinner hence I wasnt very sober last night, again only remember bits and pieces hahaahhahaha uhmmm Nathan never go with me so I got no more memory stick to recollect incidences happened! I think I reached home around 2plus...

Today:

This is a sharp box

This evening was on with Walla, Kavi, Chuan Kah together with Sister Ong. It was a great evening at work, there is no admission and there is one funny patient to "entertain" us heeeeee
Kavi found a cup inside our sharp box! Dont know who the hell threw the cup in our sharp box! A sharp box is to throw SHARPS lor!!!!!!!! Anyway we suspected most probably is one of the visitors as medical staff will not do such things!

My friend came to look for me in the evening and we had dinner together in the food court. I recommended him my favourite duck rice and he finds it nice too. I was not hungry but then have to eat since he came all the way and he even bought 2 packets of "zui kueh". We shared one packet and I gave the other packet to Sister Ong. I didnt know our food court actually sells banana split! We had that for dessert and I was very full until now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
