Dinner

We have 5 staff on this morning however all of us were occupied with our patients. A combination of breathless, restless, untidy, messy, STINK, chronic patients in the ICU this morning.......... ARGggghhhhhhhhhh.... I am glad that I am off tomorrow and the day after!
I went home and napped for a while then cooked dinner.

Very full now, wish I could have a mug of beer hahahahaha...... Eh I have two big bottles of Carlsberg in the fridge heeeee heeeee heeeee

Secrets...

Heard a few "secrets" at work this afternoon....... uhmmm cant believe it..... anyway, its none of my business heeeee people tell, I listen lor, that's all.
Brother told me "All human is supposed to be smart, if they are stupid, they are not human! They are XXX" hahahahaha....... I thought.... what brother said is quite right hahahaha actually he blah a lot but I forgotten what he said coz I was laughing away.
Work was fine this evening however got irritated by a few relatives. I cannot understand why cant they just speak in a proper way. They have to shout, they have to be sarcastic, they have to act as though they know everything and they always think that they pay hence we have to SERVE them.
Dear patients and patients' relatives ~ We are not the "slaves", we are called the "nurses"!

Finally get to watch this movie this afternoon. I expected more due to many advertising but.... uhmm still all right lah, not too bad...

Before the movie, I had some snacks bought from "Shihlin". The fried squid tanticles taste good, surprisingly the portion was a lot and it costs only $3.80. I had mee swa as well and there were two big oysters in it... The one shown in the picture was not as big as the one that was already in my stomach heeee

Dinner was awful! I meant the food taste really bad. The dory was not fresh and the drumstick was overcooked (VERY HARD). Only the coleslaw was "edible"........ EEeeeee never go back again!

The BBQ day!

BBQ was on the 22nd August at Aloha Resort pool terrace 11. The place is a two storey terrace that has got four bedrooms, one kitchen and a big living room. The pool is just directly outside the terrace. Its a pity that I did not take much pictures because I was rather occupied. Fortunately Nathan was there to snap many pictures for me heeee will get it from her and post again.
Here are some of the pictures that I took.

Jasmine was in charge of cutting of the food stuff yesterday haha very good job Jasmine! Thanks! The rest were also helping out in the kitchen. Luo Tao prepared the dumplings that she made and the spicy steamboat for the night! It was so YUMMY.....


The steamboat for the night and the BBQ started later because the charcoal came late.

The babies... They are Siti's son and Brother David's son! Aisha managed to carry Siti's son though he was crying....

Nathan bought bubbles and balloons for the kids ended up uh she was playing with them! The water bombs were "flying" all over the whole night!

After many attempts, Alvin finally got a nice snap with baby Genevieve! I got so jealous so I also tried many times to get one heeeeee but frankly speaking, his is nicer. :(


Baby Genevieve knows how to say "I LOVE YOU" and "WO AI NI"! She is so CUTE! I took many pictures of her though I was busy heeeeeeee yeah my little darling mah!

I wanna thank everyone that came! Thank you guys for your contribution for the food and drinks and your help!

JB

Tired after work but already planned to go JB hence no matter how sleepy still have to go ahead with the plan.

Found my dvds, thai songs audio cd ($9), went for car wash and pumped petrol ($18), bought groceries (cooking oil, shower gel, hair gel, detergent, maggie mee, tibits....)($50) and had a good and cheap dinner ($25). Everything we ordered were delicious ~ sambal ladies finger and squid, black pepper crayfish and prawn paste chicken. All in all, spent only $100 for the whole evening.
CONTENTED BUT....YAWN SUPER SLEEPY NOW! ZZZZzzzzzzzz

Old friend

Today work was all right though we packed a patient. We were quite settled after the death case. We took over 6 patients and at the end of the shift we were left with 2. 1 died, 1 discharged and 4 sent out.
After work I went to have a drink at Mac and I met an old friend. She is my secondary classmate ~ Janette. We used to be quite close during school days. We always hang out at Thomson Plaza or ECP after school. Uhmmm those were the days ;) we talked about our school days and "exchanged" information of friends that we still keep in contact. It has been years since we last met and .... time flies man! Sigh.......
Got to work tomorrow but I still feel energetic probably because of the tea that I took just now.............

Hawker Fair ~ Cafe Brio's

This month at Brio's besides "Hawker" food like satay, chicken rice, popiah, beef noodles, soups there are also the usual seafood like prawns, mussels, oysters and sashimi. The cooked food are things like mutton, beef, curry fish...........

The desserts are nice too. There are mango pudding, a lot of different nonya kway, fresh fruits like mangosteens, rambutans, longans and Singaporean's favourite D24 durians.

Not bad ;) give it a try!
