Re: Resus
Last week I blogged about a resus that happened in one of the station during my night shift. People started talking about this incident, about what I blogged. First of all I would like to say I welcome those who read and comment about my blog however I dont like people to spread about things that are not true.
I wrote about "2 particular person" that pissed me off during the resus. My ICU colleagues were able to name them and some came to ask me who were the 2. Yes, want to know just ask! Some people guess, some thought and some assumed that I was talking about the staff in the station. I am a trained staff, if a nursing staff did something wrong I would not be afraid and I am also not wrong to correct or teach them there and then especially during a resus. HOWEVER, I am not talking about the nursing staff so I am not in the position to correct them!
I heard the rumours since last week but I thought I dont owe anyone any explanation so I didnt bother but I heard it once and again and it never stop. I felt that these rumours are very unfair to me and to the nursing staff in the particular station that was working with me during the resus. They thought that I was saying that "they cannot work". Sigh...that is really sad.
It is not healthy to spread untruthful rumours in the working environment as it creates a lot of misunderstanding and cause breakdown in teamwork. Those who want to know who were the 2 person can come to me and I can even narrate the "pissed off" incident. I am not interested in who started the rumours but I just want to clarify that I am not talking about the nursing staff. Please do not assume.

It's our blog. It's our experience. We are here to share. So read if you want.
Whoever's reading this, don't assume that Bala is talking about you. If you think that she is talking about U, then U R obviously doing a confession! Confessing that U R not doing a good job. Well, if that is true, then U better pull up your socks.
