Busy

Today was my first afternoon shift after my leave and my four nights. Started off with some scolding and nagging but its nothing new ;) followed by our routines before we took in one patient for pericardial tap. It took us some time to settle the patient in the pacing room but the consultant came and decided not to proceed with the pericardial tap. Well, its a blessing in disguise because it will be a rather complicated case. I thought I was lucky because it was supposed to be my patient. I quickly called upon the ward to fetch back the patient thought that we would be able to "shake legs" after that.
Nah... no time to sit at all! After that patient, one of our patient came back from procedure then right after that another patient sent in for intubation. This patient was stable in the beginning but he seems to deteriorate after he went for the CT brain. Just before we went home, we started dopamine for him. Hopefully he dont go into cardiogenic shock! OPssssss ..............
I have to rest early and get ready to work hard tomorrow morning! Good luck to me!!!
