Fireworks on the 11th Aug!

On the night we went supper with Sitilok, he told us that there will be fireworks on the 11th and 12th Aug at Marina. Nathan and I went over to Marina eventhough we dont know about the time and was not even confirm about it!
Initially around 1720hrs, Nathan and I found a good spot in the food court at Marina Square, we intended to rest our legs there until we see the fireworks. Most of the people came to the food court for a good spot to view the fireworks and we began to see crowds opposite Marina Square, the Esplanade, the Merlion and the bridges... Sitilok, your information was right on the fireworks.
After our dinner it was only 1800hrs, it was so boring at the food court, nothing else better to eat as well, hence we decided to move over to the riverside. We thought perhaps we could get better view from there.
We found a very good spot and as time went by, it gets more crowded. We overheard that the fireworks will begin at 2100hrs... GOSH, it was only 1800hrs lor... At that time, it was bright blue sky, later followed by sunset and lastly the sky turned dark! I thought it took really long for these process! I YAWN... dozed off... went for toilet breaks... however the time was still crawling! I told Nathan "What if the fireworks last for only 3 mins??!?!!?!?!"..... 2 of us were really BORED and SLEEPY, we took a lot of pictures of ourselves but most of it "cannot make it" because our faces looked so tired! FINALLY, it was 2100hrs. After a short announcement...."BOOOOOOooooom.....!" It started, everyone was so excited! I last seen fireworks during CNY and I would say this was definately a MUCH BETTER one. We tried to take shots of it but its not easy to capture and it was so nice that we even used our camera to take short videos! It lasted about 10mins and we definately enjoyed and we had a very clear view throughout. (We were so near that we can feel ashes all over us and on our faces!) Well, pictures are still pictures, it cant describe the experience that we had and definately not able to see the nice changing of colours and various patterns of the fireworks!
Nathan, it was very sweet to be able to watch it with u hahahahaha I really enjoyed!
Those who missed it yesterday, what are you waiting for??!!?!? Get change and rush down to Marina before 2100hrs! You wont regret!
