First day
First day....... every woman will experience it once a month. Today I was extremely lethargic associated with body ache. I thought work would be peaceful but things went haywire after we took in a young patient. The patient was 27 years old, she looked sick, breathless and jaundiced. The CVP insertion was uneventful, the line was in within 10mins. The action started after the line was stitched down. The patient suddenly went into PEA and we started active resuscitation, that was about 1545hrs. I didnt do much CPR (no energy how to do woh!), I left it to the doctors while I assisted in giving all the drugs. Failed intubation a couple of times, it seems really difficult. We called upon anesthetist for help and he himself agreed it was a difficult one. Too bad the patient didnt respond to any of our treatment. She was all the while in asystole, PEA, or VT/VF..... Felt sorry for her but what to do, that's life........ She was pronounced at about 5plus.
We were barely settled and another phone call came, a patient was for pacing *SIEN*.... that was during our break time, Wati and I went for short break to swallow our food but Kavi didnt get to go. Tired sia..... after the pacing, we sent out 2 overflow patients back to their respective ICU. Finally we sat down at 2045hrs and its time to prepare to go home. CANT WAIT TO GO MAN!
Good night everyone, its bed time!!!
