Long day...

Woke up early in the morning at 0645hrs to drive to work in order to avoid the ERP. The rain started to pour when I was on the CTE and certainly the CTE was congested. Fortunately throughout the journey, my favourite "Muttons in the morning" were there to entertain me heeeeeee I thought this one was pretty funny...

J: Hey tell you 3 "facts" but only 2 are real ones, you guess which are the real ones!
V: Okie
J: First one uh, u know uh the white part of our finger nails uh has got no name?
V: WHAT?
J: Yeah, you know the white crescent shape part, there is no name for that thing u know
V: Really meh????....Uhmmm
J: Ok second one is ~ Straw uh, was invented by the Germans. It was used to suck the beer during the process of brewing because if they are to pour out the brewed beer it will affect the end product so instead they invented this thing called "straw" to suck!
V: Is it?????
J: YEah! Yeah! The last one is ~ you know if a barbie doll is a real person, her figure would be 39,23,33!
V: SERIOUS OR NOT?
J: So you tell me which one is not the real "fact"?
V:....... UHMMMMMMM ........
J: Well, ok lah ok lah tell you lah! The fact is everything has got a name right hence the white crescent shape part of the nail should also have a name!!!!!
V: Uh then what do you call that???
J: Its known as the "LUNULA"! Lunula, lunula... what a nice name!
V: HEy I learnt a new word, next time I will tell people I have lunula on my nails!!! This is the lunula... lunula... lunula
J: Ok ok enough! Then straws uh indeed were invented by the Germans!!!

J: Lastly the figure of barbie doll in real person is really 39,23,33!!!

Heeee I listened to them live lah so its rather funny and entertaining, I enjoy tuning in to listen to their silly conversation every morning heeeeee

8am reached work place but instead of working in my ICU, I helped out at the side station. I did very mininal changes because I spent a lot of time looking for forms. I am not very familiar with the layout hence I was very slow lor! Boss appeared right after I finished the first patient's changes and ordered me to audit the IMRs. I found only very very minor mistakes made so left "ticks" on the sheet of report. Boss then said "SO PERFECT MEH??????????!!!!!!!" Uhmm ok lor, I "digged" for mistakes lor....... In the end I wrote a very lame one hahahaha ok not to mention here..... After the audit, I went for my break then came back to help to take blood for the patients.
At 1230hrs I left to re-cert my BCLS. Very tired lor, I only practised once then I gave up as I thought of saving the energy for the practical exam. The theory and practical exam took about 3 hours..... YAWN!


Dinner was at Cafe Brio's! The oysters were extremely fresh today, I took 12 of it! CRAZY hor... there were thai duck rice noodles and it tasted like beef noodles ~ delicious! There were satay, carrot cake (nice!), po piah, the usual sashimi, cold dishes like jelly fish, smoked beef and lamb, tom yum soup and tom yum stirred fried seafood, stirred fried fish maw with mushrooms, roast beef, lamb, baked salmon...... the oysters were the best! Oh and my favourite tea, I had 4 cups. Cost only $40 for 2 person ;) so worth it!
