So many things......

So many errands to run yesterday... The bright sun and humid weather made it worst anyway everything was done within time. First was running between hospitals (KK & SHG) trying to get some medicines for my mum. After that was to change currency (Uhmm there was a story for this, shall share later haha) followed by queue for an hour in the bank just to get a new passbook. My petrol ran low, my energy low, my level of patience low but my temperature very high! DAMN HUMID!!!
I started from 1130hrs and get everything done by 1630hrs. The next thing I did was to pack my luggage, well, that took only about half an hour. I can still nap for half an hour before I met Sitilok for dinner.
In order to cool me down he suggested the very nice Japanese restaurant that Anna brought us a few months ago. Uhmmm not a bad idea, I like the food there. There was communication breakdown between us because I thought he would pick me up while he thought meet at the restaurant hahaha luckily he called me and asked me where was I.... (I was cutting my nails at home lor hahaha)
Though it was 6plus in the evening, it took me only 10 minutes to drive there. The moment I reached, we started to order all that we like on the menu. SOooooo nice....while enjoying the food, we were talking about my Bali trip...then I mentioned about the currency that I changed.

Sitilok: Eh so how many millions you have?
Me: No leh, only 85k mah
Sitilok: No lah 850k lah, how can it be 85k
Me: No leh, 85k leh
Sitilok: Uh? What color notes?
Me: Red, blue...cant remember
Sitilok: Uhmm do you know 85k cannot even pay the airport tax??? No one will change 85k lor, 85k can only like....buy 2 simple meals... and its like... $20 leh...
Me: UHH??? Is it?
Sitilok: No lah I think its 850k lah
Me: No leh.... I thought I really counted 85k... EHHH I think still in my wallet!

Me: *TOTALLY NO MOOD and WANTED TO CRY* Golden mile lah... *HOW? Not even enough to pay tax???*
Sitilok: Go back and get lah
Me: ....... they wont give one lah, no receipt, that time they so busy never issue receipt, then I also dont know the exchange rate.... *VERY UPSET*
Sitilok:.... uhmmm.....
Me: Dont tell me how much lost I suffer hor
Sitilok: Ok ok... eat eat.......
Me: ...... Eh .... I think I suffer about $130 leh....
Sitilok: Yeah.... eat lah....
Me: Uhmmm should go back or not???
Sitilok: GO lah, I teach you how to say, you dont argue with them, cannot be angry must be cool...tell them nicely "Hello, this afternoon I changed these currency, I think you may have made a mistake"....
Me: Then??? *Mind blank lah cannot think must teach me what to say* If they say no such thing then how???
Sitilok: Then u asked them to check CCTV lor, sure have!
Me: Got meh, the place so old..... :(
Sitilok: Have lah, then... otherwise you ask them lah, would anyone come and change 85k rupiah or not? No one lah
Me: Got, me lor... :.(
Sitilok: AI ya dont think lah go now lah, you also got no mood to eat already....
Me: Uhmm go lah hor...

I left my car near the restaurant while Sitilok sent me there. He waited in the car while I went down to get ready to "reason" with the person.

Me: Hello uncle, *palpitations* this afternoon I came to change currency, I think you made a mistake, according to my friend, I am supposed to have 850k not 85k.... *miserable, innocent look on my face*.... *DIe lah what would he reply???*
Uncle: Ohhhhhh yeah! We kept the money for you! Luckily you came back, we were waiting!
Me: UHhhhh REALLY AH!!!!!!! *GRIN*
Uncle: Yeah yeah... these are the balance!
Me: Uncle, thank you leh, you are so HONEST!

I was very touched for that moment, uncle is so honest! I can pay my airport tax now, I can have more meals in Bali!!!!! YEAH! Sitilok came out of the car, guess what??? He went to change too hahahahaha he said the exchange rate very good! WA LAU EH! Hahahaha
Sitilok was very happy for me, yeah me too was very happy that I got back the money and met these honest people. We had "celebration" in drinkerz hahaha opened a bottle of martell and finished my left over chivas! HEEEeeeee anyway, have to thank Sitilok for the encouragement hahahahaha otherwise I would not go back to the money changer!
Oh yeah, leaving to Bali for conference this evening! Will be back on the 21st 8pm..... Take care everyone!
