yesterday... today...

I watched "She's the man" yesterday after my morning duty. I was pretty tired and sleepy fortunately the movie was quite entertaining! After movie I went Fish and Co. for dinner and I ate the famous swordfish, yummy! Oh yeah, thank you Ivan for the movie and dinner.
I went to pick ElaineNathan at 930pm however she was so busy that she came out at 1010pm! We planned to go drinkerz inn but Nathan was tired so she told me to send her home. However on the way, she changed her mind hahahaha so we headed to the inn again! Ivan drove and followed my car to drinkerz as well.
We met many regulars and everyone was like "BALA", "NATHAN"! haha Initially Nathan said that she will leave at 11plus but in the end I sent her home around 1am in the morning! It was quite a fun night. Ivan told me he enjoyed himself too because the people there are friendly! One of the regular, James told Ivan that drinkerz is like "our home" hahahaha we definately feel very warm when we are at home! Yeah, its quite a fun pub!

Sigh, sad to say workplace is not fun place at all! The actions started around 8pm when one of the patient from other ward needs co-management in one of the station. The particular station declared that they were full hence we were instructed to take the case. The problem was that if we take the patient our ICU will also be full. In the end we found out that the particular station actually left with 2 beds its just that they refused to take the case reason being "we cant cope.... if we take we dont need to go home!" Isn't it very unfair to us? Does that mean they need to go home and we dont need to??? We left with no choice but to take the patient and the case came at 9pm sharp then guess what? Of all time, one of our patient collapsed! (ISNT IT FRUSTRATING!!!) YEAH SURE, the one who dont need to go home are all the ICU staff!!!!!
I admire our teamwork... we managed to leave at 1005pm but most of them have to take a cab home because they were drained and need to work tomorrow morning. Its so very UNFAIR but who am I to say, who am I to reject the case???????? I can only blog it, blog my frustration! HAaahahahahahaha Oh yeah this two pictures were taken when we just started our shift. We were trying to take some "act cute" pictures and the verdict was "WE ARE DEFINATELY NOT THE CUTE TYPE! Nathan, we cannot make it lah!"
